No
He picked Colorado over Mississippi State. That all I've seen reported. No idea if ND was ever in the picture.

Thornton is NFL bound, and only one other returning WR at Baylor had 90 yards receiving or more in '21. It is fair to say, I think, that Sneed would have been Baylor's #1 WR if he'd stayed -- unless Baylor is going to pluck someone better out of the portal or add to the '22 class. They have two incoming freshman WRs -- a 4* and a 3*.
2021:
Thornton: 65 catches 948 yards
Sneed: 45 catches 564 yards
Estrada: 30 catches 367 yards
Fleeks: 7 catches 89 yards
Presley: 1 catch 15 yards
Baldwin: 1 catch 7 yards
Ellis: 1 catch 1 yard
Baylor starting QB gone? $$? Scratching my head on this one now.
As Frank wrote in one of his articles, RJ and ND looked "like a great fit on paper." If ND reached out, and RJ just wasn't interested for whatever reason -- okay. But it did seem like, potentially, "a great fit."
Oh, well. Onward!
P.S. Baylor's QB was a JR, and I'm pretty sure he's returning to Baylor next year. He was injured (hammy) late in the season, but returned to play in the bowl game.
