Let me know your thoughts.
Notre Dame can help the leftover power 5 teams keep up. I thought of an idea that Notre Dame may go for that doesn't involve joining the BIG suck or the SEC. Take the ACC, Big 12, and PAC 12 leftovers and create a 3rd megaconference with divisions. It could warrant big TV$ from Apple or Amazon.
The Irish would be included in a national division of private schools where they can play in Cali, Texas, Fla, and the Eastern seaboard routinely (9 conference division games). Add USC to the Irish schedule too out of conference, along with a couple of other out of conference opponents here and there.

nail in the coffin for college football. It will lose massive popularity, mostly through losing so many conference championships and regional (yes non-important) rivalries. This conference, with the added bonus that there will be some kind of NIL limitation so all can afford to do the same things, could be the league that outlasts the money grubbin NCAA league.
Screw them all, create this league and let's watch the football that can still be somewhat like it used to be.
Other than ND, there isn't one other top tie school in that conference. Heck there probably isn't a 2nd tier school on that list. Not much better than the MAC.
Helps with tv contracts to include all of the markets. Keeps us out of the midwest primarily. And gives the double solute to the Big10 for good.
TV contracts want quality as much as geographic diversity. That conference blows chunks.
This would help us keep a national status, big tv money, and have a focus playing private schools (which is partially why we have been in the Big East, and now the ACC).
ND would be better off joining the IVY League than being a part of your lame-conference fantasy.
Amazon or Apple may jump at the opportunity to get into the live college football game, and pay a similar amount per school given the markets being covered. The bottom halfs of the Big 10 and SEC are not any better than the bottom halfs of this new conference.
One any given week, the only team in your fantasy league is going to turn on to watch is ND.
Amazon and Apple didn't get rich by making non-profitable decisions. No one is going to pony up to join Amazon/Apple to get to see that league.

Over how many years?
And how long ago?
Pretty much an empty stat.
And your obsession with private schools is weird, let alone wrong.
Swarbrick on joining the ACC - "We're going to keep some traditional rivals and we're going to get around the country. We're still going to be in California every year and we're still going to find a way to get into the Southwest. And, of course, this gives us a great East Coast footprint and we want to make sure we keep a Midwest presence, too," he said. "We'll meet our mission and make sure Notre Dame is playing everywhere in the country." There has also been many quotes by leaders about playing against like institutions (private schools). I could dig some of those up for ya too.
