Great quote from Iverson. That's what Rees & Freeman will be talking about this week. How much can they give to Pyne for his first start.

I actually think Trojan rather than Wolverine, but definitely glad to see ND struggle at all times. I quit responding to the clown.

A I meant they were talking about practice even if he didn't give a rat's ass about it. Freeman & Rees would rather be talking about a QB as a starter. Two different meanings but "we talking about practice". That's all the media will talk about. How many reps did he get? How much of the offense will he run? How's the timing with the receivers? Is he ready for his first start? Listen to Freemans pressers this week & tell me I'm wrong.

How's it taste?
only a slightly better than average football coach.
I'll give him due credit for the excellent program developer he is, but on the football field actually coaching football, he is highly highly overrated. Largely in part because he followed three epically terrible hires, and has now been followed by "potentially" another one.
The outcome remains to be seen on Freeman (though right now it don't look too promising) but regardless how it goes with Freeman I'll {{{{NEVER}}}}} regret that Kelly is gone.
I may/do/will most likely regret that we hired someone with zero experience to follow someone with 20-30 years experience, but that's a completely separate issue.
Terms...BUT I wanted them to hire an experienced collegiate HEAD coach.
I was fine with an up and comer as necessary.
I like Freeman and I wish him well. Certainly hope he turns things back in the right direction and learns how to be a HC, but this should not be that place.
ND has done it so many times now, thinking it may no longer matter...
I'm not sure what Swarbrick was thinking other than he wouldn't be fighting a first year coach.
