It just seems to me that we have been playing mechanically... on both sides of the ball,
Kyren Williams gave us this last year on offense.
Maybe Pyne's swagger can light the fire this year?
Or maybe Manti Te'o being on campus this weekend will be contagious?
Hey... any straw in the wind... right?
...kid because he played for those Ped State a$$holes.Although undersized, he was tough and gritty. He's the kinda of player you don't see coming, but maybe he can get it done. This team needs a kid like that....!
that undersized, tough and gritty, kinda of player you don't see coming..that guy was 6'0" 202lbs ran a 4.57 40 and had a pretty good arm, was selected in the NFL draft and is still active on an NFL roster.
So tell me again, what are the similarities between these two players? Cause quite honestly if we see Trace McSorley like play starting this weekend, the season might just be saved..
hypocrite ever.

Love the line...."any straw in the wind, right!" But, I think this strand makes a good point. It is something I will be looking (and hoping) for this Saturday....this team badly needs something on the field to spark them!

Infectious. I don’t think he’s as good as Book was, but he seems to have that level of grit and passion that makes others rally behind him. Book definitely had it. It was his greatest gift. The one 90% of people couldn’t see.
That is a talent you can’t coach or teach. It’s an intangible that doesn’t show up on paper, height charts, the weight room, arm strength, or 40 times. BUT it absolutely is what makes a team gel. What makes offenses move the chains and defenses bend but don’t break.
It’s a natural born leader and Notre Dame is missing that level of charismatic leader on the field and it shows.
You can throw all the bullshit stars, accolades, and “eye test” out the window when it comes to this. You are born with it or your not. Pyne has it and you won’t find it on the stat sheet. But it’s a talent we need and one sorely overlooked.
think he has way more good points than bad though. Decently mobile and 100% spunk.

though he turned out to be a cancer, Kizer did not, Jerko did not, Coan did not, Sharpely had more composure than QB on the roaster; not sure on this one though.
The list goes on. ND continues to make mistakes with QBs because they go off on paper stuff and not on what happens in real game film.
It's really not rocket science. Though we make it look that way. Most other big schools don't have this continuous problem. We make it look like the most difficult task in the world.

Yeah, they might be biased. But they said the same things. And when you watched how he played last year, it appears he quickly spotted the open receiver and delivered the ball with accuracy.
They are completely biased.
