The 22 recruiting class basically remains intact.
Freeman is able to hold on to the 23 class
He is able to continue to do a good job recruiting this 24 class.
At the end of the 23 season Freeman and his entire staff are fired.
Notre Dame now looks like a great opportunity for a competent head coach to come in and be successful with all that talent. If Weiss was able to do this with just one good recruiting class that Willingham had, can you imagine what a coach that knows how to develop talent could do?
I am aware how unlikely this is because the poor results on the field will probably result in transfers and de-commits.
1 Recruiting class feels unified...expect them to stay intact, maybe add one more big recruit
2 Freeman fixes the staff issues...bring in a huge upgrade to be co-OC, Head of Offensive Quality Control or something like that...let Rees move to field and be in the QB's ear
3 Young guys get lionshare of playing time and team's energy and vibe are completely change bec of the young blood leading to a great 2022-23 year and...
4 2024 recruiting class is as good, if not better than 2023.
5 Rees takes a lower level NFL job maybe back in San Diego where he was for a spell.

I think this guy is projecting what he would definitely do onto our current crop of recruits. He hasn't talked to them. He doesn't know any of them. He doesn't know anyone who knows them. Some may go. Some may stay.
