He's an 18 year old kid that is being pulled in a lot of different directions. His parents should probably be embarrassed by the last couple of days, but those events don't necessarily mean he's a bad kid.

Freeman may well have decided that he no longer wanted Bowen, and that may be a good decision with regards to team chemistry, but he and he alone should be making those decisions. You don't let a bunch of current HS students make decisions on personnel. Maybe you let your captains make some decisions, but never kids that haven't yet gotten to ND make a decision like that.
If Freeman did that, it's another rookie mistake.

We are about team and not individual.
In general I would agree with your stance, but as a leader you have to understand not every situation is the same and this was certainly a unique situation.
It's pretty clear that this kid has been leveraging ND for a long time now just to get NIL money elsewhere and is likely the type of kid that wouldn't stick even if he came, but...
Freeman needs to make those decisions.
My guess is he told the players that Peyton was out, but did so in a way that the players thought they had some agency over the decision when really it was already made. That's how good leaders handle these situations.

He's revealed his lack of character. He wants the easier route. Freeman has been selling ND's greater challenges academically and otherwise as a selling point to those who truly want excellence. It appears Bowen just wants to be paid.

Interesting...
came back to ND. Maybe Freeman could still work something out, but..

It will screw him up later in life.

Adon or Drayk's Dad's. Clear difference. Two of them stand tall, chest out, walk and act like men with confidence, and make their son's stick to their commitments. Another sits hunched over, appearing extremely unconfident, giggling like a little girl at a table; while clearly having zero control over his household. It's unfortunate, but this is what happens when you have "men" raising little boys. It's a vicious cycle.

is the next coming of Joe Montana? I won't respond to your dumbass anymore, so spew away. Have a Happy Holiday dumb shit.
The flaming asshole from the chat room during one of the last games. Now I am not surprised by your racist asshole comments about an 18 yr olds parents. You truly are a POS.
Uncalled for post. I would delete that last sentence….at least.
