It seems most of the early portal QBs (Leary, Card, Slovis, JT Daniels, DJ U, even Graham Mertz) have found a new home; other have decided to stay home (Harris, Pratt, Maye). I know we're interested in the still-not-in-the-portal Hartman. If that doesn't work out, what are other options?

As far as I'm concerned, it's over when it's over. It has been frequently opined that there would be no announcement out of ND until after the bowl game.
Personal opinion is that it doesn't matter who the QB is in '22. This team isn't beating Ohio State or SC and there is another '22 Stanford'ish debacle lurking as long as Rees is the OC.
