almost everywhere. Has there been any explanation?
everywhere. A town/university/whatever has an initial wave of infections, a slow down/lull, and then a secondary spike which is much more pronounced than the initial wave. The 2nd wave hurts. We went from averaging about 10-15 patients a day in our hospital back in the early Summer last year, went through a lull where it was down for a couple of months, and then by Thanksgiving/Christmas we were running about 80/day inpatient at close to max capacity. As of this morning, we are down to 11 cases inhouse.
and what do know? Presto, party.
an infected person be introduced into that bubble.
