rising interest rates, food and energy prices are crushing the economy. Throw in Ukraine and other geopolitical issues 2023 will be a difficult year.

Interesting theory. The MSM went at Trump harder than Nixon, and they tried every conceivable attack…..multiple times, constantly, even making up stories and lying…..but the economy was strong. Had it been otherwise, he may not have survived.
Conversely, the MSM/SM also is protecting an incompetent POTUS who is ruining the economy. This POTUS is even without his full faculties at times. Can they protect him in a bad economy? Likely. They just hide him and stop reporting. Change the search results, ban the opposing voices.

I opposed all that then.
Trump capitulated to get re-elected.
And Biden has poured gasoline on the fire.
Bless your heart!

I vividly recall the 1970s and this era is eerily similar.
If the economy had not been a basket case, the Watergate hearings would have fizzled out before the WH tapes were even known about.
After the midterms you can bet the ranch there will be Biden hearings galore.,
