Link: Trudeau hates freedom

In his obituary, The Economist described PET as "parochial as a young man", who "dismissed the second world war as a squabble between the big powers."
(PET = Joseph Philippe Pierre Yves Elliott Trudeau)

dramatic reduction in guns, and what that would mean for Canada, and equally important, for the U.S....note that such a move worked very well for Australia which is populated by the same species of beings as we have here.
We've been down this road before on this board, but obviously to no avail...I'll repeat the essence of my view...
Guns should be allowed for...
>Home Security...just low ammunition capacity hand guns, stored VERY safely...which brings up a huge caveat in my mind...i.e I've taken the time to research studies on accidental home deaths due to guns, and the number of thwarted violent home attacks with guns...FAR AND AWAY the stats show that this country and its citizens are better off w/o guns in the home. So long as the guns are very well secured from children or easily upset adults, I can see allowing them.
>Hunting...just traditional hunting rifles (e.g. .30-06) for big game and highly regulated/authorized semi-automatics for other uses (e.g. clearing 'pests')...
>Target Shooting....22's for personal ownership...gun range lock ups for anything else...btw, shoot 20mm if you want on a secured range, like I've seen in Arizona.
That's it...absolutely no NEED for anything else...I know there's lots of WANTS out there, but not at the cost to the American public...sorry about that...find some other hobby.
