from that article...and Archbishop Paglia...
-----------------------
the same time, he said, while the Catholic Church is opposed to abortion, it recognizes that in some situations people of goodwill can support laws and public policy designed to reduce recourse to abortion while allowing the procedure in some cases.
-----------------------
Could it be that we're seeing "Prudential Judgement" coming to the fore?...let's talk about it (I'll be back later).

Which one do you choose?

Perhaps because the answer will expose the fact that you don't actually use prudential judgement as a Catholic, but that you are just using Paglia's statement to actively advocate against Church Doctrine, which is not his point. Who is it in Scripture who uses trickery and lies to mislead the faithful. Yes, I think we all see through you.
I would disagree with you, but I would respect you, if you were honest about your position and didn't try to use trickery and misrepresentation. As it is, since you rely on misdirection and misrepresentation, no one here can offer any legitimate respect to you.
"At the same time, he said, while the Catholic Church is opposed to abortion, it recognizes that in SOME SITUATIONS people of goodwill CAN SUPPORT LAWS AND POBLIC POLICY designed to REDUCE RECOURSE to abortion while ALLOWING THE PROCEDURE in SOME CASES." (emphasis mine)

and,
----------------------
"While Mazzucato’s comments on Twitter criticized the court’s ruling, he said, “our vetting showed that in her scientific work she has never taken a position against life. You cannot judge the deepest convictions of a person by four tweets.”
Her tweets MAY HAVE BEEN "PRO-CHOICE " he said, but THEY WERE NOT "PRO-ABORTION." (emphasis mine).

So you see, Archbishop Paglia of the Vatican Life Office was directly stating IN SOME CASES the procedure of abortion WAS ALLOWABLE...I want to hear from you what you think of his direct statement...not mine...his...
What is he seeing in Ms. Mazzucato's arguments that make him utter such a defense of her inclusion in the Life Office?...think, Ned.
give us your comments.
Every time you are pushed out of your simplistic comfort zone you deflect...when the Vatican 'Life Office' brings on a "Pro-Choice" member, that's BIG news...let's discuss why that happened...again...read the article and respond to what was said in it.
And, actually, in the body of my post above, I do address the point you raised. Read my post. Then answer the simple question.
and start your own where you never have to face up to what the vast majority of people in this country already have figured out when it comes to abortion.
Let me know when you feel like answering this very, very simple and germaine question. Until then, you are just hiding from discussing the very issue you raised, and you know it.
'Life Academy'...that's BIG NEWS in most circles...I included his own words as to why that happened (not just his choice, but the recommendation of many others)...none of them are mine...I'm just passing along this news....all you have to do is share your thoughts on what happened and what you think of Archbishop Paglia's comments in support.
This was all reported in the same publication as Baron's article on Catholic schools, so you should have no problem trusting the source...what's holding you back? Once you're done with that, I'll share my thoughts on your responses...that's how a dialogue comes to be.
btw, it's a given that you won't like what he has to say, but his words and action are profoundly meaningful and should be discussed...there's no "trickery" here, just reason for debate...hopefully you're up for it.

He doesn't believe in the point he is trying to make. Typical Tyrone. His religion is his political party.
source...America Magazine...what are you so afraid of?...I read everything that people post to me, even if I don't agree with the content...and I respond with the reasons why...like when I replied to Baron specifically about Catholic schools...for whatever reason, you can't/won't do the same...IMO your claim of politicization by me, reeks of "Projection" by you.
btw, here's more information on Ms. Mariana Mazzucato (see link)...clearly someone who the Vatican appreciates for her knowledge and opinion...if you won't read the links I've provided, others just might...
Note: This won't be the last time this topic comes up...it's too important not to delve into...you should get ready...and remember, as Archbishop Paglia stated...'She is Pro-Choice...but not Pro-Abortion'...that is a distinction that I and over 90% of Americans share...and you refuse to even try to comprehend.

participating member...read the article, then share your thoughts as to "WHY" this happened. btw, it was no surprise to the Life Office...as stated, they vetted her with full knowledge of her thoughts on Roe v. Wade...
You and others refuse to face up to what might just be a breakthrough concept in this whole abortion issue...let's discuss with open minds.
