expressed his dislike for Rand Paul's extremely belligerent and non-productive behavior toward others in his Senate hearings (e.g. with Dr. Fauci) that more than likely spills over into his relationships with neighbors, thus creating an understandable overreaction...an opinion that I readily share.
Your attempt at conflation with Paul Pelosi's attack strains the word 'tenuous'...

That’s your argument counselor?!
No one deserves violence.
No one has a face that looks like it should be punched.
You reveal your bias and racism.

You’re wasting your time.
Like all whataboutism.
And I think we should also review the utter humorlessness of the right while we’re at it.

Thanks to Chris for showing it to me in his flawed thinking.

And jailed. No questions asked. You should not be able to attack someone in their own home, period. I still would like to know how this guy got into the house undetected.
And the Pelosi's daughter said that "The neighbor was right" of Rand Paul's attacker that caused him to lose a section of his lung and put him in the ICU.
I never saw a retraction from Nancy or Paul about that comment.
But I agree with the liberals that we conservatives have to be better than they are. That is why we are noting the ironies of the case while being sympathetic to the victim. Unfortunately, liberals are incapable of this complexity and also assume their own feelings in similar circumstances. That is why they are so mad. They assume we are doing what they would do....gloat.
We are not gloating. I wish the attacker had never landed his blow. This is different from the liberal response when the situation was reversed.

...conor is losing his head over what he assumes (incorrectly) is exactly your response to this situation.
But I am sure that this situation is "totally different" again.
