No strategic goal - just targeting civilians.
Please, Eli, tell me how this is necessary. Or acceptable by any moral code ever created.
Putin is a fucking monster.
The civilian population of Russia seems to be tolerating the pain of sanctions imposed to date and Putin is getting plenty of relief from China and India in the oil patch not to mention the Saudis. Meanwhile, Iran seems to have developed an extensive conventional weapons industry while we were focused on nukes.
Ukraine War...also, Russia has a GDP the size of Illinois and it is continually shrinking, therefore if Ukraine continues to maintain its love of freedom and democracy...which it has demonstrated in spades thus far...and continues to receive the support of the USA and EU (with very large GDPs)...which it will...Putin will fail.
What outcome are you hoping for?

Russia's stand, agree or not, you gotta understand.

Putin, hiowever, can never accept this because he killed tens of thousands of Russians, wrecked the Russian economy and humiliated his country FOR NOTHING.

On the other hand, when Putin is deposed ((or leaves the planet) there won’t be any more little green men to hold this godforsaken land.
I am alo concerned about Taiwan, pray Taiwan learns Ukraine lesson, don't fall into victim of struggle between powerful countries.

mean shit." (Obama was in office and you felt the need to fellate him). But now you're willing to risk a nuclear war over a part of the world that "doesn't mean shit."
If someone took you literally they would be so confused, but since we know you're just a political hack acting out your Putin demons, we laugh at you

Do you expect the Ukrainians to just grin and bear misslle attacks on their civilians?
Putin and Russia people perceive this. They perceive it as a Western attack via the proxy Zelensky.
You keep asking me to care about Ukranians. I care about my children more. I don't want them to die over a piece of land that was Russia's for 7 years and culturally Russian for a long time. Sorry.
Even Solzhenitsyn said Crimea and Donbas were culturally Russian and it was highly improper for Ukranian leaders to spread hate these Russians' way.

amount to idolizing Putin?
other nations through military force. Don't try to play your allegiance by saying it's okay for Putin to threaten WWlll
and for US not to side with those sovereign nations.

Crimea is just a barganing chip.
Ukraine need Kherson because of it's port on the black sea.
If they take it they will be content.
Putin wants all of Ukraine and will destroy it to get what he wants.
will stop at just the right moment.
It's too late for any campaign in Crimea this year.

months ago. As awful as that sounds, it was a definite solution. An ugly one at that.
Diplomacy has no room in Russia.
Can the Ukrainians string this out for another 8 to 10 months? I can only hope.
by Russia after Crimea bridge attack of 2 weeks ago, only 19 civilian casualties reported.

He knows he's lost militarily and that his days in power and on this planet are numbered.
after Hurricane Ian. I'm sure you care as much about those people as you do about the Ukraine. Can you change your avatar to the Florida state flag for support?
Who cares if communists take over Europe and Asia. They’d never come for us… right?
To another country. I feel sorry for those people, I truly do, but I care more for Americans. I think Zelenskys wish list should be way down on the list of things. Maybe we can send more politicians over to an active war zone. Better yet, we need him and his wife to get another photo shoot for a magazine cover.
gifted to his base.
constituents with the Infrastructure Bill...even if they didn't vote for it...and his "CHIPS Act" is going to provide quite a few jobs for conservatives as well as liberals...plus his "Rescue Plan" helped conservatives as much as liberals...in short ALL Americans benefited.
This administration doesn't find ways to hurt red states like the previous one did with its one and only signature legislative contribution...i.e. the Tax Bill of 2017 and its 'SALT' component. While not devastating to those states, the 'Intent' was clearly to inflict unnecessary harm on political opponents...that's not happening with this administration...at all.
But, back to the subject of the thread...you are 100% correct on the need for monetary support for Ukraine and against Putin...Tampa sounds like a latter-day "America First Party" member...not the first one, obviously, and unlikely to be the last...they have always been wrong and the vast majority of Americans have always known that...basically an annoyance that we have to deal with.

“chaff”…locally, I’ve found a couple…they do exist…you need to work harder and then support them instead of throwing your hands up.
