Case in point, inflation is crazy high all over the world. Unless anyone can prove me wrong it appears only in the US do we blame the executive branch and the Dems will most likely lose the election because of it.
On the flip side, month by month the job reports have been very solid and we have more than 800K employed pre-pandemic and 4M more jobs. The Biden admin will pat themselves on the back, but the American voter doesn't view it as a government accomplishment. IMO it shouldn't be a government achievement unless all the jobs were in the public sector.
Thank God for Joe Biden and the Democrats.
Something to do with our pandemic policies. What Biden admin did in it's first year actually slowed down recovery of labor shortage. Current employment situation is not an achievement of this president. Its delayed by his policies.
Inflation in China, roughly same size of economy of U.S., it's August inflation is only 2.5. Stop blaming others. It is your government's problem.
Where did you get the bit that the shortage is due to covid policies? A quick search on 'post pandemic labor shortage' gives me this.
But a closer look at what has happened to the labor force can be better described as ‘The Great Reshuffle’ because hiring rates have outpaced quit rates since November of 2020. So, many workers are quitting their jobs—but many are getting re-hired elsewhere.
The U.S. Chamber is capturing the trends on job openings, labor force participation, quit rates, and more, for a quick understanding of the state of the workforce in our America Works Data Center.

He figured what the hell... I need it to win re-election and after that I can't run aqain anyway.
More recently, many Dems really wanted to go all in toward Bernie's socialism so that the government could run the entire economy... but they wenr only half way and will now be blamed for the exceesive spending before they even got in office.
So yes... politicians have a huge impact on the economy and it's usually bad.
At the same time please provide the exact reasons why inflation is so high in other advanced economies.
I lived through LBJ fighting in Viet Nam and creating a Great Society at the same time... and this later haunted Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter.
We are in for a real tough slog the next few years.
Whoever wins in 2024 will likely serve only a single term.
