opponent..a glib huckster with no observable goals or humanity who wanted to use them, rather than serve them...had it not been for his stroke, Fetterman most likely would have drubbed Oz by double digits.
As JF's recovery continues, he'll convince even more Pennsylvanians he was the right choice.

knew that a special election will be held to fill the seat.
Thanks for showing your lack of research and insight...helps us all properly evaluate your postings.

and Oz has no bona fides to speak of. Trump endorsed him given his quasi-celebrity status which people are now incredibly wary of, not surprisingly.
critical issues, like Abortion where he shot himself in the foot with his inclusion of "Local Political Leaders" in the decision making...very poor decision making for a man not recovering from a stroke.
As for John Fetterman, you are venturing into an area you have no 'bona fides' in when you diagnose him as being cognitively encumbered...a better choice for you would be to search out expert opinions, like that of the Neurologist in the linked article who does not state that JF is cognitively encumbered...in fact, he makes this statement in answer to a question...
-------------------
The majority of people who have strokes tend to recover with time and treatment, correct?
Most people who have strokes gradually recover. They may recover some functions better than others. If you take the language function, it tends to get better over time, and in a lot of cases it may get a lot better, very rapidly. In other cases it may continue to get better over weeks and months and even years. So that’s very variable. If you take somebody who has an injury to their vision, in the primary visual cortex, if it’s still there after a period of weeks, it’s probably not going to recover. Parts of the brain that are very specialized don’t recover well, and there are others that—I won’t say it’s not specialized, because obviously language is a very special thing, but it’s distributed and it’s organized in the brain in such a way that there’s the capacity for recovery.

btw, If you watch the debate, while JF did have a difficult time responding to a number of questions...there were quite a few others where he was very clear in his reasoning and delivery...here is the debate...

Go to the 11:30 mark (Minimum Wage)...and the 15:50 mark (Abortion)...his closing statement at 53:00 is also worth noting.

So he’s a dreadful candidate that way as well, but people get the government they deserve.

(see linked article)...it has also been reported that JF voted with Law Enforcement ~86% of the time on Pardons...the times he didn't had their own contexts and nuances that reasonable minds can differ on.
JF's well known record in PA won out over Oz's total lack of experience in this arena.
Time to go back to your other unbelievably shallow tropes...

Thank God for Joe Biden and the Democrats.
And regardless of the consequences, this reflects a degree of mental health.
what the Dems knew all along...DJT is a Malignant Narcissist and needs to be gone from the political landscape...ASAP.
But as for John Fetterman, the majority of PA voters know him and accept what happened to him...plus they approve of his policy views...not so with Dr. Oz...that's the real reason JF won.
The Dem machine does the voting in Philadelphia.
Remember his opening words: " Good night, everybody."
He's a cognitive mess who's totally unqualified to be a senator. Shame on the Dems for running this shell of a man.
You can't fix a mangled character, which Oz has.
It's like blaming Marshall for the loss.

More voters trusted Fetterman to represent the Commonwealth vs Oz.
You should educate yourself about stroke recovery. Speech vs brain cognitive functioning.
They voted for him anyway. A person needs to earn respect by their actions. The Penn voters are not to be taken seriously with this vote .The guy's wife and stenographer were all voted in too. The left wants to zero in on his stroke but in reality he was a nothing who accomplished nothing before the stroke. Illinois voted out Mark Kirk because of his stroke. It's been done. Pennsylvania had three months of pre-election voting. What the hell. God bless Fetterman's health issues but he's not able for the job at hand.

They would vote for a turnip if it had a D next to the turnip. They cut off their nose to spite their face.

This is why the Left hid him like they did with Biden when they kept him in his bunker.
How could you respect the post-debate voters who saw what a mess he was and still voted for him?
He'll need years of rehabilitation and the senate is no place for him to be during that process.
Forget his incapacity to perform in such a demanding position, it's all about power. A warm body was needed.
