I think you understand my confusion as much as anyone here. We've given the government all of this responsibility and power to solve countless problems; nuanced problems that often don't have a good solution. Despite the diversity of ideas, we have large swaths of people that identify so closely with a single policy or party. Their ideas aren't there own. Their thoughts are just thoughts that someone else gave them. And the extent to which that political identity has embedded itself in these individuals has driven them to sabotage these elections. This speaks to the incredible breadth of mental health issues in this country.
You didn't ask about the psychological state of these Americans though. Your question was political and hypothetical (because the answer is obvious). You have to ask only one more question to get the answer: What happens when Republicans adopt this strategy? Independent and intelligent thinkers such as yourself will now get to pick between the two worst possible candidates from either party... all while insufferable assholes act like this conversation isn't even worth having.
Yes, it's a threat to Democracy. Any other answer isn't just wrong, it's immoral.

I don't even know why these people engage with you if this is the total depth of your thinking.

That's awful.
And more than a tad ironic coming from you, didn't the hospital ship nonsense come from Twitter via you?
And I bet you’ll remember it. Next time we are near a war, you can check the telltale sign.
When those ships stop reporting their location, serious shit is going down.

Feel like you are making a difference. You’re really not and you look like a fool but you still have to do it. If not, you support Putin.

TRY HARDER.
It's almost like you completely missed the point of the article.
If, both parties start funding the lesser candidate of the opposition, and it's successful, we move closer to Idiocracy. I see that as a threat.
