There has alway been fraud in our elections. The only real question is how big is the problem and how does it affect outcomes. The French have it right. In person voting at polling places with citizens that have the appropriate ID's.

it's illegitimate mail-in "ballots" that are manufactured when the libs calculate how many are required to "win" an election and the time it takes to fabricate the reason those "votes" haven't entered the system until well after the polls have closed. that's where the distrust resides - fake ballots. not in the counting itself. that can have oversight.
it took decades of trial and error, legislation, and machine development to perfect this system. hard to trace now. hard to prove.
cheating and fraud take time, y'know.
That would also help the GOP chances of winning elections.

you can set the voting age at anything from 10 to 100 - it doesn't matter. what matters is a system that guarantees legitimate ballots. the mail-in system does not do that and that's clearly the real issue. again, it's not who's voting or counting the votes. it's whether the ballots are real or manufactured.
surely you know that.
The GOP has equal access to screen mail in ballots. GOP lawyers have access to the courts. [See 2020]
but if you need to cheat to get your way, mail-in ballots are your best friend.
you can end all this speculation and conjecture by insisting on showing up, presenting i.d., and marking your paper ballot on election day.
pretty simple. very honest. fast, accurate results. everybody gets to play.
for decades with no issues - so why all the crazy talk?
There's always a few (very few - so few it's in the .00001% realm) knuckleheads who try to double vote, but they end up
being caught and the odd thing about them is, it's usually R's who are the fraudulent voters and they have been
known to be candidates of R's committing the fraud.
So how about putting the bullshit away?
The coordinated effort to nominate bad GOP candidates.
The idea that we should lower the voting age and increase the voter block.
...I wonder if any part of you is capable of understanding that lowering the quality of candidates and lowering the quality of voters is lowering the quality of leadership across the board.
It's not that you don't understand, it's that you don't care. You only care about the liberal agenda (an agenda that includes leaving babies on hospital tables to die, child mutilation, supression of rights...).
It's not that you're stupid, it's that you're immoral.
keep your fantasies on this board :-)...

As for the rest of the links...if jim is going to make shit up, so can I.

But for everyone else, The Intercept is the exact opposite of far right. To says it's liberal is too simplistic; it's actually progressive and left of MSNBC and CNN by miles and miles.
You bastards can't be so incredibly lazy that you can't Google media bias charts or actually read some of The Intercept's articles, are you?
Very little to minuscule fraud in voting.
You, LanceHarbor, and Chris94, have conveniently ignored truths that are inconvenient to your religious zealotry.
The opportunity for a standardized US voting system has been ignored by, wait for it - the republican party.
But then, even with all the tumult surrounding voting - there is basically zero voter fraud.
I get being impatient waiting on results - everyone feels the same.
The convenience of you R's not wanting to have a standardized voting system allows you all to bellyache
after each election you pretend is stolen.
So don't give me that crap we don't respond. Your premise is ridiculous.
speech...as reported by the liberal news organization in the link I posted. Do you just puke all over this board without any idea of what is actually going on here, or elsewhere in the world?

I hope nobody takes your political takes seriously. For everyone that isn't acting in bad faith, I've attached the media bias chart. If you don't like this one, there are a plenty of others that you can refer to with a simple Google search.

In fairness, the page it takes you to looks like a broken link, so that's my fault, not yours.
Also, as I mentioned, you can simply Google media bias chart.
Cut and paste your information
But here, this one rates them as even more liberal than the last link...https://www.allsides.com/media-bias/media-bias-chart. If you can't figure this one out, it explains a lot
Just cut and paste because my computer isn't accepting your links.

First, a caveat...
I worked with someone that worked on voting machines for years and years and speaks at conferences about the flaws in voting systems; flaws that have nothing to do with voting fraud or manipulation and everything to do with flaws in technology and the people that make the technology. This is a fundamental issue with voting that hardly anyone is aware of. Given that, I'm the last person to defend the integrity of our voting systems.
WRT, the amount of time it takes to tabulate votes, while understanding the lengths that are taken to oversee the tabulation, I'd think people would have MORE trust in the system, the longer it takes. My thinking is that more oversight takes more time.
Is it pure coincidence tbe states happen to be deciding Leadership in the Senate?

on pushing the voting fraud theory. We have hard evidence that this administration is working with the media to censor free speech in favor of liberal narratives. Even if we were to agree that Democrats were cheating at the ballot box, I would still argue that their control of the media and their brazen disregard for our constructional rights is far more evil. The voting fraud theories distract from the more important and intrusive problem.

find accurate information.
You have no hard evidence the "administration is working with the media to censor free speech in favor of liberal narratives". It's a fabrication or just plain ole baloney.
There is no evidence anyone is cheating at the ballot box. Your constitutional rights have not been fiddled with, at least not by this administration. You may look to the R
party for that.
If you don't mind, could you please point out the more intrusive problems.
There is hard evidence. The information in that article is derived from a review of "Years of internal DHS memos, emails, and documents — obtained via leaks and an ongoing lawsuit, as well as public documents." The lawsuit is one brought by AGs in Louisiana and Missouri if I'm remember correctly. They have also reported evidence of this collusion.
What you are doing here is literally insane and is another example of the mental health issues that are being cultivated by the religion of politics.

evidence of fraud or D's using media to change votes. What research is needed to count votes?
That's the same nonsense Arizona ninja experiment was shouting about in 2020.

The Dems want to maximize using mailed ballots and the Republicans want to maximize verification of each mailed in ballot. But if you do the analysis… the Dems have the better strategy.
mail-in balloting ended democracy in this country.
it's over.

No state counts all their votes on Election Day. It’s just that the exact count doesn’t always matter.
California has never reported full results within a week.
This is only an issue for those who don’t understand this. You know, like you.
A Chinese religious movement (possibly a cult). I’m Not sure of it connections to government politics in China but I’m sure it’s not progressive. I don’t think they’re interested in bettering the US government. What do you think?
You’re gonna need to do better with your source material.
...plus it enables greater participation by the electorate...which may be why some in the GOP don't like it.

I repeat: there has alway been fraud. The only question is whether it changes outcomes mail in balloting and drop boxes are anything but secure as 2000 Mules pointed out.
all across the country (see link)...here's what "Politifact" had to say about the GOP's bogus claim...
-------------------------
Obama was talking about the 2008 Florida presidential primary
The video shows MSNBC’s Chris Matthews asking Obama a question related to mail-in voting.
"They are talking about people mailing in their ballots. Do you trust the security, the honesty of such an election process?" Matthews asked.
Obama responded: "Well, I’d think we would have to figure out whether this was fraud-proof."
The video doesn’t clearly show the context of the interview; faint text on the screen says "Decision 08."
It would be possible for viewers to assume Obama was criticizing voting by mail in general, but Obama was commenting about a specific set of circumstances related to the presidential primary in Florida.
In 2007, the Florida Legislature moved up the date of the presidential primary to Jan. 29, earlier than either national party permitted. Hillary Clinton beat Obama, but the Democratic National Committee determined that the election violated party rules and stripped the state of its delegates. In March 2008, some Florida Democrats proposed a do-over election including a scenario of entirely voting by mail.
Here was Matthews’ full question on March 11, 2008, to then-Sen. Obama:
"There’s word from Florida that they intend to put out a mailing sort of a campaign — I mean, an election process, whereby they make up for the primary they had before, which was ruled out of order by the Democratic National Committee and you did not campaign in. They’re talking about mailing it — people mailing in their ballots. Do you trust the security, the honesty of such an election process?
The RNC video only included the first sentence of Obama’s cautious response. But Obama then made some positive statements about voting by mail:
"I mean, Oregon, for example, has a terrific mail-in system, but they’ve already scanned everybody’s signatures who’s registered to vote so that they can check to make sure that in fact the right people are voting. And that’s something that I think you’d have to figure out."
During the 2020 pandemic, Obama has not expressly called for only voting by mail. He called for safe voting options while tweeting a New York Times story that debunked the claim that absentee voting favors Democrats and an NPR story about proposals to expand voting by mail and early voting.
----------------------
In point of fact, Obama was wholeheartedly supporting Mail-In Voting...IF...as is done in states like Oregon, ALL voters' signatures are scanned beforehand...that wasn't being done in the Florida proposal.
Don't go making statements you can't back up...easy solution is to do a little research beforehand.
