Where do you think America is in Tytler's Cycle? Somewhere between Apathy and Dependence or worse?

Every Constitution in the world is based of the concept of citizens. If a country simply allows immigrants to enter freely and then vote in its elections… why not just have a world government? What could go wrong?

Did you get a chance to watch the video posted a day or so ago about the "money primary" which is before the party primary, which in turn is before the main election?...and how it compares to the Hong Kong system in which .02% of the population picks the candidates, so the democracy is really not a choice, because regardless, the winner of the election will look out for the interest of the .02%.
He did not need the money primary to win. Not that he didn't raise funds or have people with interest, but he did not need that primary in order to be a candidate, and therefore he was a threat to the system. Not to democracy as they would like you to believe, but to how the system is gamed prior to the vote of the citizens.
The Sheeple will now regurgitate all the "facts" they have found out about him and how terrible a person he is, even though I can't stand Trump as a person.
We have all seen lots of people ready to overthrow the system in the last few years. It's depressing how many of you have found a way to oppose democracy.
You'd be perfectly happy getting rid of all trappings of democracy. We get it.
I would not jettison it. And, I would not pretend it has not been, and will never be jettisoned. Pretending is anathema to democracy. I would rather acknowledge reality.
You know it cannot be maintained forever. So, I wonder why you want others to believe it can be maintained forever? Perhaps, because you are one of the Tweeds.
And I agree with him.

... whereas in the case of the Republic the rule of law prevails.
In a democracy, minority rights are overridden by the majority. Conversely, Republic system protects the rights of minority groups or an individual.
The Democratic system gets finance through illegitimate taxes, fees, fines and licenses. Unlike a Republic, where legitimate taxes and fees are the rule of finance.
Democracy amounts to mobocracy which is not in the case of the Republic.
