This person was clearly hired because the person was the most qualified for the job. Others believe that certain people nominated or appointed by this administration were hired based on race, gender, and sexual orientation alone. Some might point out the Kamala Harris nomination, as one such example.
Frankly, if I were in this person's position, and people assumed that because the VP was nominated because of her gender, then I too must have been hired because of my gender and not my qualifications, I'd rage out and start stealing stuff too. Don't you agree?
