I'm sure someone on the board will explain to us poor slobs that there is nothing wrong with this a few days before an election.

You still haven’t answered.
1) Every Twitter upper echelon person who was involved with the decision., since they are ALL democrats. As for specific Dem party officials, an investigation will be forthcoming to answer that question - I doubt it gets anywhere though because they have undoubtedly covered their tracks.
No twitter employees broke any law. And the Trump admin was in power at the time.
You’re emoting.
will not do his job almost assuredly as he has done previously displayed because he is corrupt and a completely political animal.
The liberals at Twitter were hiding the crime up until now when Musk got a hold of the company and the truth. You know this.
Your 20 posts in this thread speak to your insecurity.
Be clear...I didn't read any of them because you are unremarkable and never offer anything clever, informative, interesting, or humorous. This is why I dubbed you [NT].
but no...his ego just can't take it.

It's most likely that Trump and/or his lackeys colluded with social media platforms to label the HB laptop as misinfo in order to prevent it from being a consideration during the election cycle.
The response to this is fun.
There is more to come though. As he says...
7. Slowly, over time, Twitter staff and executives began to find more and more uses for these tools. Outsiders began petitioning the company to manipulate speech as well: first a little, then more often, then constantly.
That statement corroborates The Intercept's reporting on the subject. We know that at some point DHS and White House officials began meeting bi-weekly with Twitter execs. We know from ongoing lawsuits that these officials went as far as to target specific individuals.
I doubt Taibbi gives us anything that we don't already know. My guess is that it will simply add evidence to the stack.
As I've implied at least 10 times in the last couple of weeks, this is not a partisan issue. This is bad for everyone.
As was argued by almost everyone at that time. See Chris 94 posts.

But down below you seem like a raging moron? Are you dealing with multiple personality disorder or is just the same old personality disorder you've always had?

Geesh you're dumb.
Your whataboutism is noted, although it would be great for you to explain what you mean.
Continues: “requests from both the Trump White House and the Biden campaign were received and honored.”
Biden was a private citizen at the time; Trump was President.
Liberals at Twitter would let him get away with it? Don’t you think they would have leaked what he was asking to CNN, WaPo or NYT? You’re spinning this but it’s what you and Jim do best. You’re like twins.
I posted to Ned a cut and paste of Taibbi’s words. If you think I’m spinning then you think he is, which is weird considering his posts is what’s driving all of this.
Of other topics and claimed just about everything was a threat to democracy. They will overlook this like it’s no big deal. There will be no links from the WaPo or NYT. I’m sure their news sources didn’t even cover this.
...this is the very definition of "Kabuki Theater" ;-).

The Constitution defines the fundamental law of the U.S. federal government and it's a really good document. A document is a piece of written, printed, or electronic matter that provides information. Isn't that exciting? The US Constitution was written a looooooong time ago....
...and even I understand that the Federal government colluding to suppress free speech is a BIG DEAL. I'm dumber than a guy that couldn't spell potato and even I understand it. LanceHarbor on the other hand....
Spoiler alert: it wasn’t Biden.

The Trump WH had posts flagged for potential removal. That’s a 1A foul.
Guilty, something needs to be done. I don’t think anything will happen. . I’m all far equal justice but history says that nothing will happen here.
Just curious - What percentage of posts did the Trump team want removed compared to the Biden team? Also, which direction do you think the highly left leaning Twitter would follow? Trump or Biden?
But, again, one set of requests came from a private citizen and the other from the sitting government. Not the same, correct?
Have issues with a select group of people influencing a pretty big story concerning this Presidential candidate? My take is they should have let this story go and not block it.
Twitter is a private, yet powerful, company. They can generally do anything they want within legal bounds. I’d welcome a discussion of whether that power should be limited though I don’t see a constitutional way to do it. But, alas, I’m not a constitutional attorney nor scholar.
But fielding and fulfilling requests from a private citizen, regardless of said citizen’s background. When they do the same from the sitting government it’s different.
Because the thread mentions “Biden’s team”. Who made the requests? Again, if Trump was out of legal bounds, it would be all over the MSM. No way those Twitter people would allow him any rope. The fact that Ro Khana was worried about the 1st amendment is pretty telling.
Im gone shopping now my son is ready.
That would seem unlikely given Musk’s and MAGA’s reaction. But, yea, I’d love to see that too.
And, fwiw, the 5 posts that Taibbi highlights as requested by Biden’s team to be taken down are dick pics and porn. Sorry you missed out.
By having a story buried but left wing activists and then being told we are “trying to kill democracy” by drama queens. These same queens are really quiet today. At least you have the balls to blame Trump.
And Dorsey addressed it specifically and public ally after the fact.
So there is nothing new there. And, here’s a thought, more, perhaps. more people learned about it because of the suppression reporting than otherwise.
Made an effort to bury a story and help Biden. Elon just pulled back the covers and let us see. I’m not sure where you shake out on this. I didn’t think you were a TDS guy but I may be wrong. Do you have an issue with these Twitter employees burying the story?
It was in the NYP, not the Podunk reader. But, yes, they shouldn’t have done it, in my opinion.
But we knew about the suppressing of the link while it was happening. Getting upset about that now is odd.
But it’s true. Maybe next time, the activists won’t do it and you won’t need to worry about the way I describe it.
Seeing it in black in white bothers me. It makes me wonder what else have they buried. Good to see you have issues with it though. Makes me believe there is hope for you yet.
People have known about it for 2 years (or whatever). But Taibbii posting about it is what sets you off?
Black and white bothers me. “Sets me off” is a dumb way to put it. Maybe if Dorsey would have done something about it, people wouldn’t be bothered by it right now. Instead, he stayed the course and kept the story buried.
Next: Whitewater!
Wrong to bury the story and just decided to keep his head in the sand and help Joe. Thank god for Elon Musk. I’m looking forward to his next wave of files. Maybe he’ll even release the COVID ones. Now that will be interesting.
You seem to only come here lately when the Left has a genuine public relations crisis.
