BBQ will be next target, no more charcoal and gas grills/smokers.
I grew up with gas stove (LPG for some years then NG). With proper venting, gas stove cooking has no any problem to people's health.

electric appliances...right now, it is OK to use gas, but in 2030, it will be mandatory...and could be coming to a 'State Near You'!
Any thoughts?

it comes to heat and power...no one is going to ask if you like it or not...so best to set your expectations accordingly...if nothing else, the prices will help nudge people to convert.
I'll bet gas service will be available to all existing users for a long time, so the transition will be gradual...no need to storm the Capitol just yet.
Oil, gas, coal and biomass (wood) will provide the vast majority of the world’s energy in 2030….and 2040…..and 2050….and 2060.

Renewables will remain a small percentage of energy production for a very long time. Simply too expensive, too inefficient, and the green benefits are dramatically exaggerated. Fossil fuels are relatively cheap, plentiful and provide reliable, dependable energy. And that’s not even considering the net new global energy needs that some groups have estimated to be 50% above and beyond current energy demands, that will largely come from the developing world, especially Africa. The only possible way to meet these demands will be with fossil fuels.
I did not see the words "Nuclear Power" in your response, nor did you consider how Renewables can be used in consort with Nuclear Reactors to provide assured power 24/7 without exorbitant storage costs.
I've posted comments and links on NP several times...especially wrt the newest designs that already have funding and NRC approval for construction, and will be producing power starting in 2028...if you haven't read them, do a search under my board name and perhaps you'll fill your brain with sufficient information to make a better decision....in the meantime, take a look at the attached link from MIT...
You also refuse to let into your brain the fact that 193 countries and the EU have all accepted the Paris Agreement...if there were no palpable problem with Fossil Fuels affecting humanity's ability to deal with Climate Change it would be lunacy for all those countries to burden themselves with such a challenging task...add to that, you also have refused to acknowledge our most reliable source on Fossil Fuel Resources (EIA) which states that the U.S. has only FIVE YEARS of Proven Oil Reserves remaining if we stopped importing, given our current consumption rate....btw, BP (British Petroleum) pegs the World's remaining Proven Reserves at 47 years...and even if you suddenly doubled that figure overnight, we have little time to shift to other resources.
In short, the 'Morons' are those who won't even try to understand what's going on about them, and fail to "Look Up".
I encourage you to respond...I'm prepared...are you?

You love to cite the Paris Climate Accord in climate discussions. Strange, since it’s worthless pile of shit, with no enforcement mechanism, no penalties for failure, nothing to hold countries accountable. The world’s #1 emitter pledged that their emissions would continue to growth until 2030, and this is viewed as progress. And this was in 2015, so China pledged to keep increasing emissions for 15 years. Wait, what? Paris rocks!
How many signatories are actually meeting their commitments? As is, actually living up to their pledges. I don’t really care since the whole thing is worthless, but someone must track this. I’m guessing less than 10%. We know China is holding up their end, so that’s 1!
But boy the Climate Alarmist Moron crowd just eats this shit up. Lookee there, India pledged to be carbon neutral by 2070! Hosanna! So righteous! It’s a fucking joke.
I pledge to be a billionaire by 2035, so there’s no issue with me laying out $8K for that new bike I just got. None whatsoever.
nations of the world, and a commitment to steadily make changes...however uncoordinated...in their use of energy resources. Those changes are being made...China for instance has a plan to build over 220 nuclear power plants, and they are following that plan. Why would they do that if Fossil Fuels were the way to go?...India is doing something similar, but on a smaller scale thus far.
It takes time to make these changes and not everyone has the financial, technical nor political ability to move at "warp speed" in this endeavor...it is a monumental challenge, yet all of them are committed to the end goal...i.e. stop burning precious Fossil Fuels for heat and power when there are other more sustainable resources available.
If you can put your emotions aside for a moment, explain - with data - what you think will happen to our current living environment (e.g. Food, Coastal Cities) if CO2 levels are doubled virtually "Instantaneously", from a historical perspective, in the next 50 years?
