1. the turning over when dribbling. automatically carrying the ball when was playing your hand had to be perpendicular to the floor.
2. 5 second rule when in the key.
also egregious as you noticed. But my biggest issue is the 3 point line. Either move it out further, or get rid of it. It was not intended to change the entire game as it has, and the change was definitely for the worse.

The college game.
of fast ball movement, quick transitions and incredible cuts to the basket by none other that the 3-point wizards, Stef Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole...
If you like basketball, you'll love watching the Warriors.
The NBA has done the same thing with perimeter play as the NFL has done with the QB position. They want to emphasize scoring so the rules have put perimeter defenders at at huge disadvantage.
I'm not disparaging that decision by the NBA, but there are plenty of people who would rather watch a different style of play.
cuts to the basket by players who are renowned for 3-point skills...i.e. they don't just rely on the "3"...they use all their B-Ball skills...watch them play and then decide.
If the NBA allowed defenders to treat Steph they way defenders treated Reggie Miller, it would be way more fun to watch.
The Warriors can be fun to watch.
That is no worse than ever. Google "Ron Artest."
You can Google anynumber of articles on the increase of unruly fan behavior. That's not debatable.
Again your hostility is unnecessary.

Which ironically proves the opposite.

You seem way too sensitive. Or arrogant. Either or.
Now have the last say. I'm done responding to you in this thread.
Such an angry man you are.

The floor is too short and the basket too low.
The three point shot helped but not enough.
Regular season games are tedious.

I would categorize the game as nearly ‘unwatchable’. It was Notre Dame vs Louisville.
I didn’t know that Louisville was so bad. They are a terrible shooting team. ND won comfortably.
The reason it was nearly ‘unwatchable’ was the style of play. The ND offense is just five guys hanging around the 3 point line, waiting to chuck one up. Or, if they get the ball, they’ll try to beat their man so they can find someone open after the D collapses on them. Nobody follows their shots and rarely are players in position for an offensive rebound. ‘Ball movement’ is just a series of passes in search of an open three point shooter. The style of play goes against everything I was taught about the game. To me, it was downright painful to watch.
Get off my lawn!
I don’t watch the NBA but I would suspect it is also just a 3 point shooting contest, with better shooters and athletes. Maybe I’m wrong.
So no one cares about your misinformed, bullshit hyper-political views.
I've watched The NBA for many years. Denying the punk crap going on in today's NBA is silly.
The game has devolved.
Hyper-political?
Misinformed? Anyone can watch the antics almost daily on espn.
People responded to my post, so once again you look foolish.
Try to be more cordial.

Better take on it than you do. As usual, the trend continues that you are wrong on almost everything you post

Embid I'd a great player. I love watching him play and he showed out a week or so ago. It would be a shame if you let your Philly bias keep you from seeing what Jokic is. He's an all-time great.
His passing is phenomenal. Just pointing out the head-to-head last week. Joel was pretty dominant.
His shooting efficiency is ridiculous, especially when you consider that he's one of the most diverse shooters you'll ever see.
The team efficiency is ridiculous when he's on the floor, and he has one of the highest touch rates in the league. He manipulates defenses in ways that I've only seen truly great point guards manipulate defenses.
I could go on and on about his advanced stats. He makes everything look so easy that the subtle things about his game get missed. In the game last night, you see that he touches the ball every time down, he doesn't have to dominate the ball like so many other players in the league. It's in his hands and it's either a quick bucket or it's a quick pass that leads to a bucket.
Link: ...but yeah, he's pretty good at passing.
I’ll take Giannis over him every day of the week
But the product needs to be tightened up.
Maybe it's too late.
The ratings are a concern.
It's Popovich, Curry, Kerr, Lebron. It's star power sitting out after families have paid a lot of cabbage to see these spoiled entitled players. It's the BLM messaging. It's the passionate love affair with China. If you want money for minds that hate, All I can tell you is you have to wait. And make no mistake about it. These cats, this league, do not like or respect their fans.

It's why Ben Simmons would assemble monster stats in the regular season and then disappear in the playoffs.
