Lebron James deserves a lot of respect, like him or not
He has played a 1051 fewer games. People have criticized his scoring record blaming the 3 point shot. He made 2233 of them. Take away 2223 points for him and he would still break Jabbar's record in a couple years with still fewer games. Hate the guy or not he deserves his record.

Jokic has as high a basketball IQ as I've ever seen. Maybe Bird and Magic were better, I don't know. I can tell you this. If you have seen Jokic play, and you still want to tell me that LBJ is more fun to watch...I mean you just don't know what your looking at. He does it all without an ounce of Lebron's physical ability.
I'll admit bias here, but the diversity Murray showed last night...if you give me the option to watch Bubble Murray or LBJ, even that isn't close.

If we are going to extend the list beyond the modern NBA, we'll be here for a while. There are a ton of players from the 80s and 90s that I'd pay to see before LBJ.
They are awesome players
And they help my case that the current NBA is the best it’s ever been.
But none dominate a game like LJ does. Inside and outside, slams and threes, behind-the-back passes and stuffs.
Giannis is just as dominant, but he's more graceful and doesn't whine nearly as much.
I generally wouldn't care that someone prefers to watch one player over another, but LBJ is just so damn unlikeable. It makes no sense.
Maybe you like him because he lured AD away from the Pels so they aren't saddled with that anchor?

Biggest fun I ever had was watching Wilt vs Russell,
They were spectacles and even though I was more of a baseball/ football guy, they were as fine as athletic events you could watch.
I can't imagine many sporting events that would be better than that.

Unlike the other great scorers, he doesn't have a signature move or shot. He just takes what the D gives him and scores. He can outmuscle opponents, drive to the hoop, play with his back to the rim or shoot 3's. He's adapted his game to the team's that he's been on. He took some truly putrid teams to the finals, like his first finals with Cleveland.
AND he's 4th all time in assists! Ahead of Steve Nash, Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson, Isiah Thomas....
