Several great hotels around St. Stephen's Green. I like The Merrion.

For a more 'intimate' stay, next time consider "Number 31, Leeson Close"...not far from your good

It's been awhile for me, but The Shelbourne on St. Stephen's Green, which is "south."

I am a Joyce fan so I'm jealous. I would say you need to stay in the Gresham (which is the hotel in The Dead) but I hear it's gone downhill.
