Prayers are always answered...granted, not the way that atheists usually want them answered.
I speak from experience.
Prayers are always answered, first and foremost, by the peace of mind that stepping closer to God always brings. So, I thank you for that.
I will note, though, that I never pray for an outcome.
I usually pray for me, you, world leaders, to have the wisdom, patience, and moral enlightenment to solve the problem. I don't look at God as the problem solver. We are.
I also pray for the moral fortitude to deal with an outcome I don't want...and for those I love to have the same.
Then we need to ask, what is it you’re praying for? Because if we believe
you’re praying people will stop gunning down others in America en mass, it clearly ain’t working.
Maybe gun regulations should be looked at as a solution.
