Really!
Drill, baby, drill. The world needs energy.
That nasty thing called ‘reality’ rears its ugly head again.

>U.S. Proven Oil Reserves...44.4 Bbls
>U.S. Oil Consumption...7.3 Bbls/yr
>U.S. Oil Imports...2.2 Bbls/yr
>"Willow" Reserves (est.)...0.6 Bbls
Do the math, Nigel...even if we were to suddenly TRIPLE our oil reserves, we need to bring Nuclear and Renewable energy sources on-line ASAP....denying this reality isn't helping.
.......Let them loose from all the phony restrictions and they will flood the country and we will be a substantial exporter again.

even British Petroleum puts out a worldwide estimate for years of proven reserves remaining at current global consumption rates...that number is....47 years.
nia can capture the multiple years or water being dropped from the sky this winter
as for oil reserves...the oil industry estimate for all of the 'ANWR' reserves would yield ~ 6 months more...
I'm not making any of this up...this is EIA data...not mine...
Again...even were we to TRIPLE our Proven Reserves, that gives us ~21 years of oil reserves without imports at current consumption rates...how comfortable does that make you feel?...change is absolutely necessary...the sooner, the better, since there are many other critical uses for FFs aside from incinerating them (e.g. plastics, fertilizers, etc, etc.)

water for years if they captured it. Underground is a option as are valleys in the mountains but those fish keep getting in the way.

"We were thankful for that water that we got in our local reservoirs in the state reservoirs as well," said Valley Water spokesperson Matt Keller, "But we're really hoping that that rain would continue all the way through spring."
Until we know how things pan out, not just this Spring but in the years to come, WE CAN'T SAY THAT WE'RE ANYWHERE CLOSE TO BEING OUT OF THE DROUGHT. (emphasis mine)

I have the sinking feeling that this won't register with you...at all ;-)...

and you'll understand at least 'Why'...
What a flaming *sshole you are
concerned about...if you disagree with anything in that Stanford review, please explain why...otherwise, stop making a fool of yourself.
And then you lack any ability to apply logic to any given topic to form an opinion that you didn't get from somewhere else. It's why you assumed I watch Fox News, because you can't comprehend a scenario where someone comes to their own conclusions.
This is the nicest possible way to point out that you're an incredible idiot and have no reasonable standing to pass judgement on anyone else.
rarely happens...but when it does, like with the recent debate over Baron's dismissal of my NEJM Editorial link with Jakers, he ended up having to agree with me that Baron flat out lied and I was right....
This offer remains...and to you, especially...if you believe you can prove me wrong about any position I've taken, please confront me...but bring facts and data to prove it...pure "Opinion" is worthless.
