....as I said previously, the MIT study clearly showed that the 6 foot rule the CDC used for the past year was not based on science. It was a guesstimate, not science. If were based on “science” as was claimed so zealously by the Left, they wouldn’t be changing it now.
The CDC would have been far more credible if they just said that they were taking their best estimate and going with it for the time being instead of making libs think their was a magical circle at 6 feet defined by scientific study, and having businesses, churches, etc measure out 6 feet exactly for lines of people.
They also would be far more credible if they weren’t sneaking in the changes rather than calling attention to them.
So much politics.

the facts of the MIT Report, it clearly states that the "6 Foot Rule" is INADEQUATE in the effort to protect people from the spread of COVID-19...meaning that for "large droplets" the rule is indeed effective and advised, but for "small droplets", i.e. "aerosols"...much more is required (e.g. ventilation changes...time spent indoors or in close proximity...etc.)...I'm not going to go through it all again since it is easily "Searched" on this site...except to add that it stated...wearing 'Masks' produces "an order of magnitude" improvement in COVID-19 risk reduction.
As more and more people are getting vaccinated and data shows improvement in cases/hospitalizations/deaths, the CDC is doing what they said they would...relax guidelines. BTW, should the country take a 'turn for the worse' with summer holidays, gatherings of unvaccinated people, etc., you'll likely see a logical increase in restrictions...kind of obvious to most of us.
Listen child. I didn't respond to you because you missed the point as usual, and i find you tediously boring. My point in this whole thing is how the CDC arbitrarily picked a distance and the Left pretended that it was "science".
It is ludicrous for you to claim that the CDC is "slowly relaxing" guidelines by dropping the distance. The distance is either protective or not. They aren't "halving the distance as they ease restricitions". They are halving the distance because once again, they are arbitrarily guessing.
Also, I need to make clear to you that I am not arguing against distancing, I am arguing against estimates that are presented ot the public as "science" such that people are being held to task for not following it to the letter.
I am also arguing against any distancing or masking outside, especially with children this summer. They are guessing.
