Traitor. Ban him from travel. Treason. Putin stooge. He asked the tough questions that the dopes of the MSM wouldn't. You don't have to like the answers from the dictator, but Tucker asked the right questions, including a back and forth about young journalist Evan Gershkovich.

Putin has been very direct in stating that the West is an existential enemy that must be crushed.
And you know what... this has been the mentality in Russia for hundreds of years... and most of the population are still serfs.
He's not like our politicians... he does not have to be phony for the benefit of anyone because he's an absolute ruler.
He just lives in another century...and apparently so do a lot of Russians... who are terrified of the modern world.
Funny this is... they are even more terrified of China.

He really believes in the purely of the Russian race.
He obviously has repressed fears of a miscegenation that threatens his sense of identity
Here is a Russian who comments on the interview... with portions of the interview.
His point is that by following Putin's analysis we humans would have perpetual wars over territory we feel we deserve.
And he may have a point... since we evolved living in warring tribes.
And I have to confess that I misunderstood Putin's motives. He wants to recreate the Russian Empire under the czars and obliterate Ukraine entirely. He acually has disdain for the Soviet Union and criticizes Lenin, Stalin et al for fragmenting the empire. He's not a Commie at all... he fancies himself Ivan the Terrible.
This was an extemely enlightning interview... which we should take seriously.
I just hope that Tucker and our hypernationalists will understand the Putin threat.
Supporting Putin is the very last thing that will Make America Great Again.
I hope that Trump will watch this interview and learn from it.

I don't trust a word out of his mouth.
I would like to know the truth behind a couple of charges me made, relative to the 'CIA led' Ukrainian coup in 2014, and the supposed 2022 peace deal that was scuttled largely by Boris Johnson. Again, I don't believe anything he said, but would be interested in the real story behind both of those allegations.
I will say that he came across as calm and capable, evil though he is.
Putin says early on that he will take "30 seconds or one minute" for some history, then drones on for an an hour and a half.
Here is one of your boy's tough questions:
"You are making the case that Ukraine, certain parts of Ukraine, Eastern Ukraine, in fact, has been Russia for hundreds of years, why wouldn’t you just take it when you became President 24 years ago? Your have nuclear weapons, they don’t. It’s actually your land. Why did you wait so long?"

Don't get me wrong... I'm not supporting Tucker (and certainly not Trump) and I don't feel Tucker asked a fraction of the questions we'd like to hear... but Putin never would have tolerated that. For decades he has never been challenges by anyone.
Did you really listen to the interview or just listened to some commentators?
Long version of the answer, you go to listen to the interview.
The short version of the answer: we accepted Ukraine's sovereignty as a country, but we didn't accept Ukraine as NATO. We didn't accept NATO east expansion.
If NATO didn't plan to expand to Ukraine (and Georgia), if Ukrain didn't want to join NATO (added it in its constitution), there would never be such a war. This is also exactly what our old generation strategists predicted. Eastern expansion, war. No expansion, no war.
He also believes that he must "defend" all Russian speraking people everywhere... and unify the empire.
Take off your rose colored glasses. He is the reincarnation of Hitler.
This is just history 101. Before 1917 there was not Ukraine as a state. If you check any famous people born before 1917 in eastern Ukraine region, they were categorized as Russian and born in Russia, today's somewhere Ukraine.
Odessa has been famous Russia city you can find in so many Russian literature works and movies. For example, my personal favorite Russian writer Isaac Babel. His Odessa Stories is deemed as Russia's Godfather. (The opening scene is also the wedding).
Ukraine is an artificial country created by Lenin's Soviet and ww II. But that's not Putin's point to justify the reason of this war. Tucker misunderstood Putin's long talk about history, therefore asked that question. The point that Ukraine is an artificial country justifies the Russian people living in eastern Ukraine have right for autonomy and even independence. if you think Kosovo deserves autonomy or independence and if you're not hypocrite, then Russians in eastern Ukraine deserve autonomy too, given it's long history being there.
You need to listen to the interview, starting at 23:00. That's the point why this war happened. It's the nato expansion.
You think they are aren’t separate peoples and states? The Baltics also. You are so full of shit.
Match Russia's. Ukraine (eastern) had no statehood history. It was always Little Russia, new Russia, part of Russia.
more than a hundred years before the USSR. Same with the Baltic’s. You think they aren’t separate people as well? I know plenty of Ukrainian Americans. None of them think of their heritage as Russian.
For such a nationalist, you sure like to deny it to others. Feck off and repent for your past PLA sins.
Because China had statehood before it's conquered by Mongols, and it's statehood earlier and much longer before Mongol Empire.
Ukraine is different than China, Poland and Finland. Ukraine never claimed statehood until October revolution. Unlike 800 years bloody fight between Irish and English, Ukrainians and Russian never had blood fight (because they are same people with same language and religion).
The Ukrainians you know must be from western Ukraine. Most them are Nazi's offspring.
Poles and Lithuanians. You are simply wrong for denying it to the Ukrainians. Now go and repent like a good little human rights abuser.
Your short history doesn't entitle you disrespect others' long history.
If Ukraine were a state with a long history, it's current leaders would not have been so crazy to destroy their own country, wouldn't have sold their country as a pawn for US. Ukraine rada even want to make Thanksgiving their national holiday. Yeah, this is modern country that have zero history. So despicable.

It’s like Mexico’s claim on California and Texas.
In the interview Putin clearly said we ( Russia) accept Ukraine's sovereignty.
You made up your point irrelevant to the interview. I am out.

Even you never say thanks. But that's who you are.
At times I find it amusing that Cole and you can be wrong about so many things at one time.
I also am amused that you post on this Board, but almost never about ND football. Are you even a fan?
thought-provoking, eye-opening points/arguments. You don't really have original thoughts because you are just like a pettifogger without a true political conviction.
When I was on football forum and game day chatroom, you were wet behind the ears. I passed my prime. Sports trash talk no longer is the part of my sports passion. This kind of change is very normal when you age. Please gossip about my change. I know you're fascinated about my personal things.
your contribution. Do you even watch ND games? Doubt it. By the way, I was following the team long before you knew the place existed and were killing protesters. My first ND game was in 66. When was yours, loser?
Putin spoke to his Russia audience and basically said that Russia is a great power and small countries are irrelevant.
The whole charade was overshadowed by Biden’s King Lear act.
We are not at war.
I don't understand the notion that Putin's words would be so dangerous the US people couldn't handle hearing them. That is absurd.
No real journalist would have let him just drone on and on an on, and say things like this without challenge:
"So before World War II, Poland collaborated with Hitler and although it did not yield to Hitler’s demands, it still participated in the partitioning of Czechoslovakia together with Hitler. As the Poles had not given the Danzig Corridor to Germany, and went too far, pushing Hitler to start World War II by attacking them. Why was it Poland against whom the war started on 1 September 1939? Poland turned out to be uncompromising, and Hitler had no choice but to start implementing his plans with Poland.
By the way, the USSR — I have read some archive documents — behaved very honestly."
FACT CHECK: The USSR invaded Poland shortly after Hitler did and massacred the Polish officer corps in the Katyn Forest. But it behaved honestly!

Now this is the part where you tell me they wouldn't stoop so low as to betray their country.
The interview documents the diary of an evil man. Putin looks healthy and thoroughly wicked.
Putin isn't fooling anyone. That's what I got out of the interview.
I have heard several make this statement in the past 24 hours.
Putin granted only one.
There is a reason.

As did Carlson. It provides an open discussion on the funding of Ukraine.
It shows Putin for what he is. Carlson as well.

justifying Hitler attacking Poland.
I asked Chris a question. No need to try and run to his defense. Allegedly, he's a big boy that can speak for himself.
with his willing puppy.
