This may backfire. The hush money charges are by far the weakest and Trump might prevail.
Don't forget that Bragg's predecessor, Cyrus Vance, Jr., was a highly educated and respected attorney (whereas Bragg is a hack polititian) who investigated these alleged crimes for five years before deciding they weren't worth bringing. AND, the standard in a criminal matter is "beyond a reasonable doubt." AND, all it takes to prevent a conviction is a single juror.
If I wanted to bring Trump down (and I would love to see him fall)... as an attorney this is not the route I would choose. This is the route chosen by someone who is running for office.

I always thought the civil fraud case should have been charged criminally. Even if the lenders were de facto co-conspirators, jurors would have no sympathy for Trump playing fast and loose under a set of bank loan rules versus jurors’ experience.

Do you think it's proper for a state prosecutor to be meeting with the Biden Administration? Fani's
married boyfriend has been payed a lot of money. He's a private attorney and I don't believe he has any criminal experience. Is this a guy you want to be the lead prosecutor in a case of this magnitude. If anything very unethical.

prosecutor meet with the Biden Administration? Very odd.
In Georgia: A hearing is underway on motions to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the 2020 election racketeering case she brought against Trump. The motion is based on allegations she financially benefitted from a personal relationship with her lead prosecutor on the case. Trump and his co-defendants are also seeking to get the entire case dismissed.
