Pope Francis' quote..."I do not say a person..." when referring to a fetus.
There is MUCH MORE to be said about this issue...

into this?...no one else seems to have the courage to face it...perhaps because they know where it ends and don't want to go there. But it won't go away, and I'll continue to bring it up..as it needs to be.

Catechism has a section in it dealing with "Just Wars", where...under certain circumstances...it is, in essence, sanctioned for "Prudential Judgement" reasons...i.e. for the Greater Good, which may be rephrased as "Freedom".
So too, in the case of Abortion...it is always a grievous sin and certainly not a sign of the life our Creator envisons ...BUT...under certain real world, human circumstances (e.g. Rape or other forms of forced pregnancy) it could be sanctioned...and since the RCC has never taught that a fetus has "Personhood", a pastor could consider counseling a woman with that in mind, especially given the physical, emotional, mental and economic impacts of an unwanted pregnancy on her Freedom as a Person. In no way, however, should the government control a woman's own reproductive choices.
Your response?
That anyone would try to link a "Just War" to an inconvenient pregnancy and then act like there is some room for debate here is a joke. And the Pope was perfectly clear that this wasn't the case.
Piss off, you disgusting incel.

...even the RCC knows this and is likely why it has never taught that a fetus has "Personhood"...read the attached article for a deeper dive into what that means for society and its laws.

It’s not a child and may never develop into one. It’s what it is, an embryo. It may be implanted, it may not. It may or may not be successfully implanted. A child, born or unborn is a developing life. An embryo often is not developing.
Now, don’t you have some crayons to play with.
Simple definitional approach.
An orphan is a child.
Implantation, or parental support, or lack thereof merely describe the situation in which the child exists. They don't change its fundamental nature.
Reality doesn't care about human convenience or personal emotions or belief. Reality just is. We can choose to act in certain ways, but we should not justify our actions with lies. We shouldn't deny reality and then deny the fact that we are denying reality. Find other ways to justify our actions.
human. A frozen embryo isn’t and may never be.
