1. Think big "I like thinking big. I always have. To me it's very simple: if you're going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big."
2. Protect the downside and the upside will take care of itself. "I always go into the deal anticipating the worst. If you plan for the worst--if you can live with the worst--the good will always take care of itself."
3. Maximize the options: "I never get too attached to one deal or one approach...I keep a lot of balls in the air, because most deals fall out, no matter how promising they seem at first."
4. Know your market: "I like to think that I have that instinct. That's why I don't hire a lot of number-crunchers, and I don't trust fancy marketing surveys. I do my own surveys and draw my own conclusions."
5. Use your leverage: "The worst thing you can possibly do in a deal is seem desperate to make it. That makes the other guy smell blood, and then you're dead."
6. Enhance your location: "Perhaps the most misunderstood concept in all of real estate is that the key to success is location, location, location...First of all, you don't necessarily need the best location. What you need is the best deal."
7. Get the word out: "One thing I've learned about the press is that they're always hungry for a good story, and the more sensational the better...The point is that if you are a little different, a little outrageous, or if you do things that are bold or controversial, the press is going to write about you."
8. Fight back: "In most cases I'm very easy to get along with. I'm very good to people who are good to me. But when people treat me badly or unfairly or try to take advantage of me, my general attitude, all my life, has been to fight back very hard."
9. Deliver the goods: "You can't con people, at least not for long. You can create excitement, you can do wonderful promotion and get all kinds of press, and you can throw in a little hyperbole. But if you don't deliver the goods, people will eventually catch on."
10. Contain the costs: "I believe in spending what you have to. But I also believe in not spending more than you should."
11. Have fun: "Money was never a big motivation for me, except as a way to keep score. The real excitement is playing the game."
Funny thing is... I don't see immediate capitulation on the list at all... and if Putin treats him badly, does #8 apply?

Doesn't change the fact he's not a great guy, but I'd rather have a guy like that on our team than having to oppose him.

Name some things about Trump.
may have never happened.
Now the West can't keep up with Putin's munition production. Go figure. Maybe Trump was right.
lines" - CNN
Military analysts say the war will likely be won or lost based on who fires the most artillery shells.
“The number one issue that we’re watching right now is the munitions,” the NATO official said. “It’s those artillery shells, because that’s where Russia really [is] mounting a significant production advantage and mounting a significant advantage on the battlefield.” Russia is running artillery factories “24/7” on rotating 12-hour shifts, the NATO official said. About 3.5 million Russians now work in the defense sector, up from somewhere between 2 and 2.5 million before the war. Russia is also importing ammunition: Iran sent at least 300,000 artillery shells last year — “probably more than that,” the official said — and North Korea provided at least 6,700 containers of ammunition carrying millions of shells.
Russia has “put everything they have in the game,” the intelligence official said. “Their war machine works in full gear.”
Russia is producing about 250,000 artillery munitions per month, or about 3 million a year, according to NATO intelligence estimates of Russian defense production shared with CNN, as well as sources familiar with Western efforts to arm Ukraine. Collectively, the US and Europe have the capacity to generate only about 1.2 million munitions annually to send to Kyiv, a senior European intelligence official told CNN.

That's all from CNN. As it stands, Trump can approve the $60b and Ukraine will still lose. It's very clear that Biden and Co. were very unserious about this war and had no plan to win it. Even you have to admit that.

in sight. It's not Trump who is unserious about this war. It has always been Joe Biden who thought he could hurt Putin and but actually had no plan to help Ukraine win the war except fight to the death of the last Ukrainian.
commitments. He may be right. I haven’t even heard a commitment from you that you won’t be voting for the Orange toad despite posts like these.

If Putin attacks a NATO country, he knows he wouldn’t stand a chance against the US and the other NATO countries. His only option to level the playing field would be to use nukes and that would ensure his demise. You’re a Russia sycophant. Fucking traitor
Russia on munition production?
Why isn't the West enforcing sanctions on Russian oil?
I thought we were strong?
We are supporting a country that is at war. Big difference.
Also, you’re so focused on Russia’s production of munitions, but you fail to acknowledge other important details about the war. I’ve mentioned them in other threads…Manpower, morale, sub-par equipment, resources, will of the people….
Sanctions work sometimes. In the case of Russian oil…when there are willing participants that buy Russian oil, it’s almost impossible to enforce that. Example…China buys some Russian oil.
powerless to defend our BF when he gets punched in the mouth. This is not the position we should be in. It was a stupid war that we asked Ukraine to fight for us.
We didn’t ask Russia to invade the Ukraine and we didn’t ask the Ukraine to fight back. Your position is a position of weakness. If we didn’t support the Ukraine, they’d still be fighting. It’s in our national interest to help the Ukraine. Seems you, Eli and the Trump sycophants in congress are the only ones that don’t agree.
weapon research labs in Ukraine, and pushed it to be part of NATO, thereby allowing us to station missiles within 7 minutes of Moscow. Putin said enough and offered a peace deal that would contain a neutrality guarantee. When we rejected it, he invaded, just like we would have done.
Stop fighting the Cold War. Stop trying to Westernize countries that have no business being part of our alliance. We had no strategic interest in Ukraine.
that we have intelligence facilities there with their permission. None of that excuses this aggression.
