My daughter and son in-law are seriously considering moving to France if Trump wins again.
She’s gone as far as investigating real estate, immigration options for entrepreneurs into France, etc.
Then she looks at the taxes there, and has second thoughts.
She doesn’t hate America, but she is increasingly afraid to live here—and she lives in an upscale neighborhood. And we live in a red state, and worries about things like abortions for her employees, etc. A school shooting at our granddaughter’s school confirmed a lot of her fears.
I can’t say I agree with her, but at least I understand

The president doesn't really do much in the way of any of the things she's afraid of.
Immigration is probably the biggest current issue, and that's not so much a safety issue as a drain on resources issue.
And Europe ain't doing much better, and arguably is worse, when it comes to immigration.

"Abortion for her employees." Sound like fine people. Imagine the odds of that many women from...
one workplace having medical conditions that require a choice between the life of the mother and life of the child and that many women victimized by rape or incest? Amazing. One thing we can rule out is the possibility that they go from sterile relationship to sterile relationship, making poor choices in partners, resulting in birth control via abortion. I mean, that's like less than 1% of abortions, right?
