But OUR Jews have always had more fear of Christians than they have had for Muslims.... for good historical reasons!
From Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice through the Fidler on the Roof... Europeans had always persecuted the Jews.
On the other hand... today's most virulent anti-semitism in this country involves Muslims, especially in academia.
Will this be enough for Jewish voters to overcome their addiction to the Democrat party?

I don't fear Muslims, I fear the hate groups that support Trump.
We all do.
insread of tossing around useless propoganda.
And since Jews are a critical factor in our system, this is a huge question for all of us.
They are intrinsically left of center and lean Democratic. As far as Jews being a critical factor in our system they only represent 2.5% of the population. I have the utmost respect for Jewish people, however 2.5% of the US population is not a crirical factor.
in Europe and in this country too. Their experience leads them toward sympathy for other persecuted groups. They were very involved in the Civil Rights movement in the south. Many Jews have empathy for the people in the occupied territories.
These are "from the river to the sea" protestors shouting down Michigan's president at this last Sunday's honors convocation.
No one dares resist because of the threat of terrorism AND a potential loss of the state's electoral votes.

BTW - The full chant is "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." Which entails those in occupied territory and those within Israel.
In contrast there is a strong contingent of Zionists that make a legal claim and title to "all of the lands between the two rivers," The Nile and the Euphrates. Based on he Concept of Greater Israel. This concept is older than the one above.
The entire Palestinian issue cannot be painted with one brush.
In other words, “Israel should be extinguished”. Unfortunately, the Palestinians chose the wrong bedfellows. In fact, they’ve done this time and time again. From the PLO to Hamas.
But they sure got humped.
Until Hamas is destroyed there is no hope of a two state solution. Palestinians need to choose a better option in terms of leadership.

I live in Michigan, which has a very wealthy and seriously "traditional" Democrat Jewish community and the largest Muslim population in the country.
The Dems are freaked about the potential split in this battleground state.

Felix Walker (July 19, 1753 – 1828) was a Democratic-Republican U.S. Congressman from North Carolina between 1817 and 1823. He represented Buncombe County, North Carolina, and was known for his long winded speeches. Hence the phrase Bunkum today.
Can you imagine a Democratic-Republican U.S. Congressman today?

Is that because they support Hamas? No...
Only 28 per cent of the public rated Netanyahu’s performance as positive (up from 26.5 per cent in the previous poll) compared to 48 per cent for chief of staff Herzi Halevi, in a poll rating the performance of political and military leaders since October 7. Netanyahu’s performance was rated as “poor” or “very poor” by 57 per cent.
