...not exactly "Poisoning the Blood of America"...were they?
Let's hear some eulogies from a few of the Practicing Catholics on this board.

Addressing a topic honestly ain't your thing. The next "deep dive" you do (on your own)....will be the first. Though I seriously doubt you are capable.
They died in what amounts to an act of God. In this instance, they could have been doctors or astronauts and it would have had as much bearing on their cause of death as anything else.
So, the "doing the work no one else will do" is not particularly pertinent in this case.
important, but dirty, jobs that current citizens don't want...in Construction...Agriculture...Food Processing...Service Industries, etc. These people...millions of them...are NOT poisoning the blood of this country...they are REPLENISHING it. The Scott Key Bridge disaster HIGHLIGHTED their true CONTRIBUTION to the nation.
In point of fact...Trump's revilement of immigrants is just another example of how he intends to "Make America Worse". No doubt, such behavior puts a smile on his buddy, Vladimir Putin's face.

sick...cleaning rooms at Trump resorts...stuff like that.

Trump tries to demonize them, they continue to do their jobs helping keep this country functioning...HUGE difference between what Trump and MAGAs think...and REALITY.

He touched all the bullshit bases. A magnificently deranged blathering.
I, and others with actual logic capabilities, make a distinction between legal and illegal immigrants. Legal immigrants of all races and nationalities are welcome.
until their petitions for documented status can be completed...unfortunately, Congress has failed to pass legislation that addresses policies, such as "Asylum", and of course, funding to make it all happen..much more quickly.
The truth of the matter is that Non-Critical Thinkers...not unlike yourself...can't or won't look at the details and only respond to emotional stimuli like "Open Borders", or "They're poisoning our Blood" delivered by GOP politicians looking for easy votes to keep them in office.

or do the laws of economics simply not apply here?
Very similar to manual labor such as gardening, cleaning, etc. others "would not do" until "immigrants" [sic] arrived on the scene.
Never let a good crisis go to waste, indeed. What pathetic grandstanding.
one that Democrats have been striving to rectify...btw, even Ronald Reagan passed legislation to deal with that issue...i..e abuse of immigrants by businesses...
Do some research on this issue...all you need to do is get online and ask the right questions...there's tons of information out there.
Bottom line...millions of immigrant workers (kept from achieving citizenship) are laboring at low paying jobs, w/o benefits, that keep this country functional...and profitable...they deserve your thanks and appreciation...as well as advocacy....not hatred.

No one is against legal immigrants, but you continue to be a cheerleader for illegals. How many are you housing? I am sure you have some reference since you spend your days finding something to defend your position.
been admitted, legally, into the country and are in the process of potentially gaining permanent residence status...this is where Congress comes in...i.e. pass laws that determine how many can stay and for how long...Congress also needs to provide funding for more border security officers as well as processing persons and judges to rule on immigrant petitioners....pretty simple, really...but Trump and the GOP enjoy seeing folks like you get riled up over "Open Borders"...and voting for them.
Since both Texas and Florida businesses are big employers of "Illegals" it would be beneficial to all concerned if the states would cooperate with other localities all over the country, like in Iowa, and send some immigrants there.
I'll say it again...the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has been clear...to maintain our GDP growth, we need more working age adults for all levels of jobs....last count was up to 11M more...Boomers are retiring, and not that ,any long resident Americans want to repair potholes on bridges, or clean meat packing machinery, among other tasks that keep everyone comfortable.
btw, my wife an I have been volunteering weekly at food banks for over 15 years now and we see many very good families with little kids trying to make ends meet while in some cases working 3 jobs...none of these people are rapists or murderers, nor are they poisoning anyone's blood. Actually, you might want to try spending a little time getting to know such people...they're hard working...loving parents and will genuinely smile at you for your help.
Legal immigrants are certainly welcome and needed. The Immigration Services may have a limited record of illegals, but if you believe the system is working you are not as smart as you profess. Do you believe the increased number of border crossing by China immigrants are going through the legal process?
of their administration...right now, for various external reasons (COVID in China...Chaos in Haiti...Violence in Central America...) immigrants are fleeing all they've ever known for the HOPE of a better life in this special country. The large majority of them are purposely surrendering themselves to the CBP, which starts their processing by our Immigration Service...by no means will all of them ultimately be accepted...until the process is completed, they are knowingly allowed to remain until the process is completed, and that's where our system is broken...we don't have enough resources to deal with the surges we're experiencing...BUT, we do have a very good bipartisan bill that was hammered out in the Senate to resolve the issues...and the only reason it's not currently in place is DJT's stonewalling...Yell at him...not Biden.
Thank God for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the Democrats.
