Nothing we can give Ukraine will make up the gap in munitions.
And since we’re not sending our troops, we can’t make up the gap in human capital either.
So all we are doing is extending a lost cause.
Putin would prefer a negotiated deal with the west rather than terms of surrender it’s time to start talking to him.

The Ukrainians have already given up their dream of driving him out of their country.
The war will continue as long as Putin thinks he can win.
Ukraine won’t achieve a stalemate for two reasons.
First Ukraine embarked on a disastrous counter offensive instead of building up its defensive lines. It’s now way behind on building up it’s defensive lines and it is a very difficult thing to do when you’re under fire.
Second Ukraine clearly lacks air defense systems. Otherwise the power would be on in Kyiv right now. Ukrainians will be just target practice for Russia’s drones and glide bombs and they will pick Ukraine to pieces.
I respect you and you and I are on the same page. The only way out of this war is a neutral Ukraine.
There’s a stalemate right now.
Russia has taken a couple of small towns. Total conquest since the summer: 46 square kilometers. Which is nothing. Heard that this week.
In the meantime, Ukraine has essentially sunk the entire Black Sea fleet, despite the fact that they have no navy.
There already is a stalemate. American arms will make sure it continues.
