My first question to my kids when they bring up an issue that they’re passionate about is “what is/was your news source”? If they say either of two I listed, I tell them to try again.
Suggests that there is a David and Goliath perception to the conflict, which is more prevalent among Gen Z.
To your point, it's all a matter of framing.

guys). And that IS their problem....as it is yours as well.
Self identifying the problem is the first step, now go build on that.
Oops..he got fired for lying. I’m sure he’s one of your News sources.
My news sources are highly diverse. I don’t rely on one or two sources like you and your ilk.
I just googled it, and found a Brian Stelter Vanity Fair piece and an LA Times piece, and neither mentioned a particular lie as the cause.
which costed his employer 700m. A bold faced lie.
An excerpt from the Guardian…
“Arguably the biggest of the scandals in which Carlson was embroiled was the Dominion lawsuit, which ended in a $787.5m settlement as a landmark trial was getting under way. The voting company Dominion brought the suit after numerous Fox personalities broadcast false claims that the voting machine manufacturer was involved in a plot to steal the 2020 presidential election for Donald Trump instead of the genuine victor, Joe Biden.”
The Guardian article you quote doesn't support the allegation that Tucker was fired for lying.
and disinformation about Dominion voting machines.

and you watched his softball “interview” with Vlad. Dude is about as honest as Trump.
What you are saying runs counter to what I heard, that FoxNews fired him for emails he sent internally, not for lies he told on TV. You may be right. But, that's just not what I heard. Even what I heard has not been confirmed. I guess you and I get to make up any narrative we want to fit the outcome we expect...but I'm not posting about it...I'm not trying to convince others of something regarding which I have no evidence.

Hesburgh, a flaming liberal, set the standard during the Dow Chemical/Vietnam protests of the early 1970’s
The standard still applies.
Freedom of speech is not what is happening at Columbia. It's violence. It's agitation for more violence against a specific group of people, it is religious intolerance. It is not a peaceful debate with both sides being allowed to talk.
It is a threat of safety to students.
