The cap gain taxes will be raised for all income levels - to record levels - above other nations which will drive money and business offshore again.
Biden plans to not only increase inheritance tax, but also start taxing the lower and middle class inheritance (no more tax threshold for the tax.
And, of course, Bidenplan calls to cement his giveaway programs and protect them from being taxed. Read this and the link for the specifics.
Given our economic condition, this will be devastating to the middle class in the US which coincides with the radical Handlers plans to eliminate it.
This will hit you Libs right in the nuts, even though you think your exempted.
All of that Ukraine money and handouts payouts don’t come free.
Now, how will you pay for the healthcare and welfare of all of that illegal immigration?

Cut everything 20% starting tomorrow. Everything.
Then start cutting more. Only after the 20% cut do we start debating which programs are important and which aren't. Sure, I think the two primary functions of government are protection from foreign enemies and protection from domestic criminals, but obviously the Left does not agree, so let's just start by cutting everything. We can pick and choose after that.
I don't see why taxes need to be increased, but I suppose we can talk about it. But if you are increasing spending, then I say "hell no" to new taxes...that is just another way to make the problem worse. If the country is going to go down under massive debt, I see no reason to contribute any of my money to that disaster. Any tax increase needs to be balanced by an equal amount of spending reductions.

Before you invest your money to allow for personal choice and freedom, he and the other sleezebags politicians must get their share, and if you make any money as a result of your investments, they want a slice of that too.
What do you expect from someone who has never produced a damned thing in their lives.
certain programs (e.g. Defense) are protected from cuts...let us know what your 'Plan' is...

many times on here. A political office should not be a lifetime job. Do your 2 terms and go get a real job. These scumbags are millionaires off of a public servant's salary and we have people thinking they are "Patriots". They only care about themselves, the lobbyists and special interest groups. Oh and getting re-elected. Can't forget that.

read the attached summary of the Biden Tax Plan...the Middle Class is not being attacked...e.g. the Capital Gains Tax increase will only raise the eyebrows of those making $1M or more.
I was under the impression that 'Practicing Catholics' didn't constantly spread falsehoods...guess that's for others to worry about.

bragging about him keeping campaign promises. I'm sure the same people will be here to defend him like good cultists.
Which is all you guys, when convenient. No way we dig ourselves out of the hole with spending cuts alone.
It is not a coincidence that deficits exploded after the Reagan, Bush and then Trump tax cuts.
Receipts to the Treasury increased:
1981-89: $599 billion to $991 billion, +65%.
2001-09: $1.991 trillion to $2.104 trillion, +5.7%.
2017-2021: $3.316 trillion to $4.047 trillion, +22%.
You might have a point for the Bush tax cuts, except after 9/11 the economy struggled for a couple of years and revenues decreased. There is no truth to the myth that the Reagan tax cuts exploded the deficit.
...the GOP Tax Cuts not only reduced income to pay our bills, but also dramatically increased the wealth inequality gap...harming folks like yourself...

us here.
What I find most baffling is that you'll swallow "climate change is the greatest threat" or "White supremacy is the greatest threat" whole and enthusiastically. Yet when someone brings up an actual clear and present danger, you disparage that person as a conspiracy nut or an uneducated dumbass.
You are a microcosm of what got us here.
Or that "white supremacy is the greatest threat."
You can't. Because I haven't.
As a professor to the next generation you are supposed to be a thought leader. You're supposed to take the intellectual risks, and while I don't think that you have tenure, this the reason tenure exists.
My advice to you would be to find a mode of being where you deserve tenure, because you are a part of the solution rather than a part of the problem.
You are such a deep thinker. We’re so lucky to have you here.
Yet us mere mortals run circles around you, putting in 5 mins of effort.
I had it in my mind that the insanity of not worrying about the debt for those who suck at math would be quelled when the cost of the debt exceeded all other line items on the budget. Sadly, I was wrong.
Deficit spending makes good sense in times of crisis, as long as you have some plan to pay it down in times of plenty.
The national debt is not the existential crisis that some people believe it is, but it obviously a problem.
Both parties are to blame. And no way that it can be brought under control without raising taxes. If spending is essentially frozen, economic growth will allow more revenue to be brought in over time, and it will be brought under control.
Even the IMF is raising the alarm that the debt is "The Crisis" on the immediate horizon.
You'll forgive me if I don't join the freak out of the under-educated.
It's almost as if you feel like this is a problem that we can solve with arrogance.

We can’t afford wasting money on a war that Joe lost long ago by failing to act to prevent, failing to act early to win, and failing to negotfrom strength when we had the chance. “Take the loss”.
Which is a distinction without a difference.

strategy of trickle down that saves your ass everytime (Reagan, Contract With America,Trump).
Cut taxes, cut regulation, unfetter the taxpayers to earn, collect more taxes.
We’ve had this discussion many times over the years. If BidenHandlers do this now, and throwing money everywhere continues along with massive illegal influx which will cost greatly now that we have Obamacare (and Dems first order of business after the election will be amnesty)……
It will be a massive disaster and move to a socialized state.
PS - you deserve to pay for this shit because you chose it. Many of us did not.
As usual you don’t live in reality, but it will come to bite you eventually.
Difficult to expand expand and hire new full-time employees because you can't pay more taxes and provide benefits.
Employees may have to contribute more to health care,
It will be tougher for second and third generation business owners to survive.
Some people just don't have a clue.
