I am thankful for those that have put their lives on the line to protect us.

Weβd all be commies.
Made the mistake of fucking with a WW2 vets flag display one day. There was a guy on the street who was 102 Airborne in Nam in the mid sixties, two Purple hearts. Needless to say he came down and beat the shit out of all four of them, great memories.

We had kids in the neighborhood who never came home and some that did but never could get out of the Nam and just could not get it together, as I grew up lost some good friends, great dudes who just could not let it go. When I was a kid I could not understand but as I grew up with these vets I understood, still makes me sad today.
Life that you are doing and the people you remember live within the spirit of the good things you are doing
My father was in WW2, taught this kids respect for this country and itβs vets.
