now has forgiven an amount equal to the total budget of The US Army for a year. He has ignored SCOTUS rulings multiple times on this." Rule of Law" the left is so enamored with only applies when convenient. Add the POR release and the only thing this senile idiot sees are votes.

...also, note that several countries make it their national policy to ensure they have an educated society by funding students' college or trade training. For instance, in Ireland, Physicians don't have any Med School loan payments.

We could nationalize higher education tomorrow but the strongest opponents would be university faculty and administrators. The last thing they want is some sort of fiscal accountability
...from the attached ND statement...
------------------
The Notre Dame Law School’s Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) is designed to ensure that J.D. graduates with law school loans are financially able to work in the nonprofit sector, government, policy advocacy, human rights, and other fields where lawyers make valuable contributions but are often paid lower salaries. LRAP directly supports the University’s Catholic mission to “create a sense of human solidarity and concern for the common good that will bear fruit as learning becomes service to justice.” Beginning in 2024, the revised LRAP will work in tandem with the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program to allow graduates to earn total forgiveness of their federal student loans, both graduate and undergraduate, with only minimal out-of-pocket payments.

Make the loans forgivable in bankruptcy. That would help both ends of the problem.
Get over it. You are living in the past and see black folk as not as capable as whites. Worse yet, miscegenation is ineluctably eroding the problem.
productivity from ALL citizens while ensuring they enjoy their lives and freedoms...we are definitely not there, in large measure because of our expanding wealth gap, which is making it ever harder for citizens of color to participate. Targeted loan forgiveness programs can definitely help if voters are willing to act in their "Enlightened Self-Interest".
The attached article provides insight to this problem...
