The Pulitzer Prizes are two-dozen annual awards given by Columbia University in New York for achievements in the United States in "journalism, arts and letters."
(Columbia University has recently displayed its true colors.)
BTW The Daily Mail is not an American publication. Did you realize that? That means they are not eligible for Pulitzers.
They do quite well in Press Awards, however.

Media Sources such as WaPo and the NYT have publicized their standards of Journalistic Ethics...and they observe them...this country cannot function properly without such professionalism.
