A person with albinism goes on a hike in the summer without a shirt... Maybe, but I am skeptical.

Have you ever fasted before? I did a four-day fast once. I wouldn't even put in the top 10 of most difficult things I've done, thus I came to disregard absurd claims I heard over the years that people cannot survive a week without food. Provided there is water, I know a fit person like this guy can go a couple weeks without eating. The difference, even among fit people, is that most would just give up.
And I work out every day during. It's not that bad. After day 3 you're not even that hungry.
What I question about this story is that an experienced person, with albinism, would be so unprepared.

Not to get too graphic, but I'm a cup of coffee in the morning then do the paperwork kind of guy, like clockwork.
The first two times I did water, coffee only. Since then I've adapted to: heavy cream in my coffee, half an avocado on day 3.
The first time I did it was because I was having a skin condition that wouldn't go away, something sort of like eczema, it went away during the first fast and hasn't returned.
Towards the end of day 3 you get a sort of a euphoric feeling and a burst of energy. After that you're not really hungry. I mean, you would definitely eat, but you don't feel like you have to.
To refeed: bone broth, yogurt and berries, then whatever you've been craving. For me it's usually 3 eggs over easy covered in sausage gravy, lol.
Research is sparse, but I think it makes a difference in my health and immune system.
