Impact on the debate and the race?
What should Trump's position be?
If he agrees does he anger too many on the far right... and... would this help him at all with women.
I don't see where it impacts Joe at all. Maybe he chimes in with "it didn't go far enough."

that you could drive a Mack Truck through it. Conservatives and the Catholic Church have never questioned the legitimacy and need of the procedure when the life of the mother is in peril.
But using the “health” term allows abortionists to use even an extreme excuse like “the pregnancy makes the patient sad which is not healthy” as justification to take a human life.
Perhaps more specificity was provided, we will have to see.
Regardless, this is all about convenience for the Left. What’s a human life compared to the convenience of getting rid of a “problem” with as little muss and fuss as possible. It is the same reason that they pursue euthanasia (for which there is a big push coming for this Fall as well).
And this was a leak that has to be suspect as it came the day before the debate, and has never happened like this before except in one other instance two years ago…..regarding abortion.
to him, they are all just the result of irresponsible flings of passion...with zero awareness of reality...i.e. the millions of totally unwanted pregnancies endured by women due to force or coercion. To him and the extremists like him, women are 'insentient baby making machines that can be turned on at any time, and they must accept the results no matter what'.
Fortunately, such a viewpoint represents ~1/10th of Americans, and ultimately, we will return to the rational decision making that led to Roe v Wade.

99%-plus of all pregnancies are from consensual sex, according to various articles I've read. I guess millions are possible since the beginning of the country, but the way you phrase it seems like it's every year.
as a detailed study published by the NIH on the issue of Forced and Coerced Pregnancies...this is a serious issue involving ~ 5% of all women during any given period of time...i.e. not a small number.
Given this fact, what is your response to those women?...are they entitled to decide whether of not to carry those pregnancies to term?
Up till the moment of birth. No cost.Free to anyone. Taxpayers expense. Someone is raking in millions from all these abortions. I wonder who? How many little ones are aborted because man child partners won't take responsibility for the care of these angels? The very same man child abortion supporters who find it easier to bloviate like a screaming Planned Parenthood rioter instead of playing the needed part of being a man. A responsible grown up man.
totally unwanted?...i.e. what are their options?
Coerced may mean sweet talk. It may mean flowers, dinner and a movie. It may mean a late night dinner at the apratment with Barry White playing in the background. . It's whatever the left wants it to be. Stop with these idiotic justifications . Stop acting like a feminazi. You're supposed to be a man. Act like it for crying out loud. Have you even been on a date because you act like it's a new concept. What's the numbers of abortion as birth control? Why are there so many abortion clinics in minority neighborhoods? Sounds like the black pastorrs are failing to do their job? It all sounds typical Dem racist. And then we get to abortionns for convenience. All "free". All on taxpayers exppense. Illegals, teens, no parent notification. . One big abortion good time. Up until birth. Fun times. And you and these other P hats hide behind the skirts of the white suburban soccer mom.

Background
Reproductive and sexual coercion involves behavior intended to maintain power and control in a relationship related to reproductive health by someone who is, was, or wishes to be involved in an intimate or dating relationship with an adult or adolescent 1. Reproductive coercion is related to behavior that interferes with contraception use and pregnancy 1. The most common forms of reproductive coercion include sabotage of contraceptive methods, pregnancy coercion, and pregnancy pressure. Birth control sabotage is active interference with a partner’s contraceptive methods in an attempt to promote pregnancy 1. Examples include hiding, withholding, or destroying a partner’s oral contraceptives; breaking or poking holes in a condom on purpose or removing a condom during sex in an attempt to promote pregnancy; not withdrawing when that was the agreed upon method of contraception; and removing vaginal rings, contraceptive patches, or intrauterine devices (IUDs). Pregnancy pressure involves behavior intended to pressure a female partner to become pregnant when she does not wish to become pregnant 1. Pregnancy coercion involves coercive behavior such as threats or acts of violence if a partner does not comply with the perpetrator’s wishes regarding the decision to terminate or continue a pregnancy 1. Examples of pregnancy pressure and coercion include threatening to hurt a partner who does not agree to become pregnant, forcing a partner to carry a pregnancy to term against her wishes through threats or acts of violence, forcing a female partner to terminate a pregnancy when she does not want to, or injuring a female partner in a way that may cause a miscarriage 1. Homicide is a leading cause of pregnancy-associated mortality in the United States 2 3. In one study, the majority of pregnancy-associated homicides were committed by an intimate partner 2.
Sexual coercion includes a range of behavior that a partner may use related to sexual decision making to pressure or coerce a person to have sex without using physical force 1. This behavior includes repeatedly pressuring a partner to have sex, threatening to end a relationship if the person does not have sex, forcing sex without a condom or not allowing other prophylaxis use, intentionally exposing a partner to a sexually transmitted infection (STI), including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), or threatening retaliation if notified of a positive STI test result 1.
One quarter of adolescent females reported that their abusive male partners were trying to get them pregnant through interference with planned contraception, forcing the female partners to hide their contraceptive methods 4. In one study of family planning clinic patients, 15% of women experiencing physical violence also reported birth control sabotage 5. Among adolescent mothers on public assistance who experienced recent intimate partner violence (IPV), 66% experienced birth control sabotage by a dating partner 6. Compared with women not experiencing abuse, women experiencing physical abuse and women disclosing psychologic abuse by an intimate partner had an increased risk of developing an STI 7. Based on this information, health care providers should include reproductive and sexual coercion and IPV as part of the differential diagnosis when patients are seen for pregnancy testing or STI testing, emergency contraception, or with unplanned pregnancies because intervention is critical.

Not one word about "Flowers" or "Barry White"...stop fantasizing and come to grips with the real world around you...that is, if you aren't afraid to face facts and seek true progress in the effort to reduce abortions.

Your schtick doesn't work here. You're controlled by polls, wiki, and and your isufferable links to nowhere. That's your world. That's your fantasy. Come to where I live. I'll show you the real world rookie.
and Coerced pregnancies...apparently, it's a serious enough issue for them to take the time to publish it. Unlike some people on this board, i don't make stuff up, so if you don't agree with their findings, call or email them with your opinion. This is what's actually going on around you...like it or not. You can cover your eyes and ears, but I'm telling you the truth...with solid backup...as shown in the other study on this issue that I linked in this thread...Publicly distributed facts from highly reputable sources...as compared with your personal opinion...and that "schtick" of yours will never fly. ;-).
Now, given that a significant number of pregnancies are due to rape and coercion...What do you say to such victims?
What else would anyone expect from this dude? He might as well regurgitate numbers from Planned Parenthood. Abortion at anytime at no cost to anyone disguied as "women's reproductive health". Sounds like the Napervillle soccer moms and their P hat husbands keep inventing new terminology to green light the murder of unborn little innocents. They have neither the want or the will to reduce the number of abortions. They are the greatest deceivers this Earth has ever known.
their fertile years clearly indicates a serious and on-going problem...the question to you is, do you support our government forcing those women to carry totally unwanted pregnancies to term against their will?
Would you be willing to end all abortions with the exceptions of rape, incest, and health of the mother? Will Planned Parenthood and the abortion left pledge to use their money on education for both male and female on ways not to get pregnant? Who determines what is coerced? The left I assume. Answer the questions and stop posting left leaning links from compromised organizations.
have been applied...put yourself in the place of a woman who is totally dependent on her spouse or significant other for her well-being...her children's well being...and possibly their lives...in the real world it is unconscionable to imagine she could resist; therefore, just as with forced rape, "Coercion" is just cause for the "Option" of abortion.
With that said, I take it you are open to the legality of abortion under those circumstances...if so, we can move on with the discussion...just let me know if I got that right.
Every murdered innocent, both unborn and young teen, is on you and every single America hating coward who knowingly voted for these policies. You're not going to talk your way out of this. There is no moronic link or poll or commment from the vatican that will bring any ol these lives back, both unborn, and young teen murdered by illegals. You voted for all of it. You did that. This is on you and every D lefty. Your made up justifications for more more more abortions is pretty sick.

pregnancies are forced or coerced?...should they be forced by government to carry them to term if they choose not to?

unwanted pregnancies?
No one is falling for this, incel boy. Attempt a new angle.

from the linked study I provided...
-----------------------
Conclusions:
Pregnancy as a consequence of rape or sexual coercion is experienced by an estimated six million U.S. women. Prevention efforts may include healthcare screenings to identify violence exposure and use of evidence-based prevention approaches to reduce sexual violence.
------------------------
Now that you know the true magnitude of the problem, what do you say to those women?
According to Statista, 133,294 rapes were reported in the United States in 2022, which includes attempts and assaults to commit rape. This figure does not include unforced statutory rape or other sex offenses. The rate of forcible rapes in the United States in 2022 was 40 per 100,000 people, which is slightly lower than the rate in 1990, when it was 41.2 per 100,000 people.
I'm not sure where the study you posted get the figure of 6 million from, but even if it is highly underreported, every assault does not result in pregnancy. That number needs some clarification for sure.
And just to be clear, there are not a bunch of people who don't support an abortion in that case, or the case of incest. This is just a way to justify having abortion for an "unwanted" pregnancy, as in I was not planning on it.

their reproductive lifetime due to rape or coercion...that is not a small number...and one of the major reasons why the option of abortion must remain legal...as you seem to agree with...unlike a few extremists on this board, and in a few state governments.
Further to this topic, it is simply not possible, nor advisable, for government to try to justify each and every choice of abortion on grounds of rape or coercion...it is impossible to determine fairly and therefore, women need to have the procedure legalized and available everywhere.
Once that decision is re-established, we all should join together to reduce the rate of abortions through 1) wide availability of contraceptives, 2) sex & sexuality education for all ages, and 3) funding for programs that make it more likely that women will choose carrying pregnancies to term instead of aborting them...as I've said several times on this board.

substance...right now you're a waste of time and server space.

i.e. totally unwanted...during their fertility years. Should they be forced by our government to carry them to term?
Face reality, Jake...all your yelling and screaming isn't going to change it.
It's a bogus claim. Feel free to dig your own hole with it. No one cares what you post.
uninformed and unsupported denial...you'll have to do better...MUCH better.
The way I'm reading your responses would indicate that these women are being forced into having a baby by their spouse or whoever. I doubt someone in that situation would be running off on their own to get an abortion.
Unwanted pregnancies are easy to avoid, don't have sex. Abortion as birth control should not be something you support, but it's unsurprising to me that you do.
I shared was based of actual studies of real people.

your's
existed before Roe v Wade was decided...i.e. a cacophony of discordant state laws/rules across the country which were causing extreme harm to women.
What is your response to women who, through no fault of their own, are subjected to totally unwanted pregnancies?
