The good campaigner will win. People vote for strong & wrong over weak & right.
The right wing salivates; the world braces itself, looking on in horror and disgust.
Will the republic survive intact? Will the Heritage Foundation lead the way into the abyss? Stay tuned!
Both men have high disapproval ratings. The are both viewed as “wrong” for different reasons by the majority of voters
Trump is “strong” because he believes nothing he does is wrong. I don’t consider this a plus but it makes him forceful.
After last Thursday, everyone saw that Biden was something other than “weak”. He was lost.
Analyzing in your framework…you have:
Strong and wrong vs non compos mentis and wrong.
If you’re honest, which is in short supply around here,…you know what needs to be done first…
…and it isn’t hand wringing about Trump…
led Senate Intelligence Committee Report documented Trump's campaign manager sharing internal polling data with a Russian agent.
Never mind his myriad other well documented character, legal, moral and ethical faults...Why are we even debating Trump's candidacy?...

Agree that the first thing is that Biden should be replaced by the D’s. If they don’t, that’s on them and Old Joe. However there is a little event that is gonna happen in 6 months. The inauguration of what likely will be a narcissistic, crazy, autocratic wannabe criminal. That isn’t speculation. He has already proven that he will try to stay in power by illegal means. It took Pence to stop that last time at the cost of his career in the GOP. He has continually lied about a stolen election to justify himself to his Idjit minions who buy it hook, line and sinker. It’s a direct assault on our institutions. His plans and those of his supporters for a second term continue that assault. Yet no one is to say anything about that while Biden is POTUS as he poses his own threat? So you can constantly bleat about Joe’s threat, but no one should say anything about Orange’s in about 6 months? Yeah, that is irony.
Unfortunately all YOU’VE done to stop Trump…is write thousands of screeds on a message board…
Haven’t even climbed a water tower or anything. How motivated are you?
What I advocated…on a message board…was more detrimental to Trump than what you have advocated…on a message board….
Logic left the building here long ago….
What have you done to remove Biden other than yer posts? And yeah Kamala as a replacement will be real detrimental to Orange. Yet I’m not supposed to talk about his threat, but you are about Biden right? Carry on warrior.
You were the dope who made that observation…on a message board…which is the only place we interact.
Ugh. Adios.

Pretend to want to move out of the country. They will make it just to the outskirts of Beverly Hiills then turn back home for their pickle ball lesson.
You’re a congenital liar.
Down deep, you know how dangerous Trump is.
All of you do.
Which is why you get so mad about it. Fucking consciences, eh?
...as is now known...1) You didn't in fact "get it" and 2) It wasn't being "really really old"...it was the effect being really really old was having (and already had) on him.

1) Paid for the spurious Steele Dossier with campaign funds, in violation of Federal law, and used it as the basis for four years of harassment of the duly elected President.
2) Created a fictitious connection between the Trump Tower and a Russian bank to try to get the DOJ to initiate more groundless investigations of the duly elected President.
3) Had the chairman of the House Select Committee on Intelligence repeatedly lie about being in possession of “more than circumstantial” evidence of criminal collusion by the duly elected President.
4) Altered evidence used to justify wiretaps on the staff and associates of the duly elected President.
5) Unconstitutionally tried to remove the Republican Presidential Nominee from the ballot in multiple states.
6) Brought baseless charges of fantastically creative felonies against the Republican nominee in various Democrat jurisdictions to imprison their opponent before the election.
7) Conspired to hide the fact that the sitting President is incapable of carrying out his duties at the present time, much less in four year’s time.
8) Imprisoned associates of the Republican nominee on charges of “Contempt of Congress”. The same charges the DOJ refuses to pursue Democrats on.
But Trump is the threat to “Our Democracy”? Go peddle that shit to your moron undergraduates.

My favorite is lash-out Chris. Which, I guess you could argue is also a component of that reply.
I’m giving him some leeway these days. To see your entire carefully-constructed edifice of “we get it he’s old but fundamentally decent and capable” destroyed from the very first sentence by a huffing and pathetic candidate must be a wrenching experience.
and perpetrated Russia, Russia, Russia on us for years.
All while Democrat leaders blocked free speech, stifled scientific dissent, forced Shut Down on our country for far too long and as long as they could possibly hang on to it,
lied about COVID guidelines to control the population and maintain the shut down, lied about the origins of COVID,
arranged for 51 of their top brass to lie about Hunter’s laptop being “Russian disinformation” to block an investigation, used the govt agencies to pursue and imprison their political enemies,
executed a 2 tiered justice system benefitting themselves- raiding Trumps home while treating Biden with gentle kid gloves, and then after Biden still lied 4 times about returning documents, they dropped the charges against him,
Used intimidation against the SCOTUS to try to get the rulings they wanted - including not protecting them even after a left wing nut showed up at the home with plans to kill Brett Kavanaugh and had plans to kill 2 other justices
It goes on and on - much more.
No Chris, you can’t get away with this lie, even if you have convinced yourself that it is true.
YOUR PARTY IS LED BY THE DICTATOR. Who that is has not been officially confirmed, but we both know who organized the Deep State, we both know who made the calls for Joe in the 2020 Dem primary that got candidates ahead of him in the polls to drop out, and we both know whose former staff members are now prominent in the Biden Adm.
Classic case of Liberalism Rule #1 - accuse others of that which you are/do.
Wake up.
Heritage Foundation, anything that they do to block Dems from replacing Biden on the ballot in different states does not prevent the Dems from finally doing the right thing and replacing Biden or pursuing 25th amendment on him.
Dems put on an unforgiveable ruse with the help of the MSM for several years that fooled enough people on the Left to put themselves in the position that they are in now. If they lose the election over it, it is well deserved. In no world does them having a disadvantage in a couple of states justify Dems having to continue with the lie. There can be no excuse of "Well, those mean Heritage Foundation people played hardball like we do, and now we have no choice but to run the Proxy President for another term". If Dems did the right thing and weren't serial liars, they wouldn't be in this situation.
They deserve to take their lumps, and they are not justified in a continued lie because their will be consequences for it.
All of that said, I personally would support removing the serial liar turned dementia patient right now regardless of the risk to the Fall election for the sake of the country over the next 6 months. But regardless, it appears that even without the Heritage Foundations efforts to hold Dems to the state election rules that they don't want to have applied in the same as they are their opponent, the Dems ability to remove Biden from the ballot would come with a political cost either way. Biden's name would stay on the ballot in WI and PA for sure, and possibly MI. But that is the price you guys deserve to pay for your unconstitutional ruse. Who has been responsible for this mess we have? Who has been running our country? It sure as heck hasn't been Biden.
Laws. So the full defense of Biden is back on.

The fact that a man with dementia is still in the race tells you all you need to know about Trump’s “campaigning.” Obama was a great campaigner! He had fabulous impulse control and stayed on message. He was ok in his first two terms but horrific in his third.

And no, the poor are not getting more than they used to get, they are getting less like everyone else. But the drug companies, insurance companies, and big hospital systems sure love it, don't they? Everyone is a profit opportunity to them at tax payer expense now, and all small business competition has been removed (private doctor practices, small pharmacies, smaller hospitals and hospital systems that used to provide free market alternatives to keep the big guys prices and service quality in line....all gone).
What a disaster.
Then there is JCPOA - that mess will hurt us even more down the road, I fear.
Obama was a disaster of a president in his first two terms, he was destructive with his Deep State in his third term, and he was horrendous in his fourth term. We cannot give him a fifth.
...here's what the ACA has done over the last decade...
--------------------
2014-2024: How the ACA Marketplaces have evolved in 10 years
The ACA substantially transformed health insurance by creating Health Insurance Marketplaces where consumers can shop for private comprehensive coverage that meets consumer protection and coverage standards
The number of issuers participating in Marketplaces has grown in recent years providing nearly all Marketplace consumers (96 percent) with a choice of plan offerings of at least three different issuers. This increase in market competition has contributed to premiums that are more affordable for both enrollees and taxpayers. In 2024, 210 health insurance issuers are participating in Marketplaces.
Between 2013 and the third quarter of 2023, the uninsured rate for all ages fell from 14.4 percent to 7.7 percent. Since 2013, the uninsured rate for children has decreased from 6.5 percent to 3.4 percent in 2023.
The ACA brought key consumer protections, such as preventing consumers from getting denied or charged more for coverage due to pre-existing conditions, age, and gender.
For example, prior to the ACA, 92 percent of popular plans used gender rating. A woman could pay as much as 81 percent more for the same plan as a man of the same age, even without the plan covering maternity care
Prior to the ACA, health plans also often limited the benefits they covered. In 2011, 62 percent of individual market enrollees did not have coverage for maternity services, 34 percent did not have coverage for substance use disorder services, 18 percent did not have coverage for mental health services, and nine percent of enrollees did not have coverage for prescription drugs.
