Minus the soccer hotties...I suspect...most sadly.
(Dumb ass place to have a World Cup. The kickbacks had to be enormous.)
In the day of video games and short attention spans.
But changing the rules will only disenfranchise the loyal fans that they have.
It’s a Catch 22.
But not to worry. As with the NBA, Disney (via ESPN) may choose to articially support the sport with giant TV contracts even when nobody is watching.
Personally, I used to watch all of the time….until the 90’s strike. I left then and never looked back. I won’t miss it.
