NL outfield was Mays, Aaron, and Clemente. Game was at Tiger Stadium. Was 12 years old and remember watching it, especially the Reggie homer.

The 76 Reds were a superlative team. Swept an excellent Phils team before the sweep of the Yanks.

I went to Tiger Stadium once when I was a kid. Loved it.

It was a great old park. Have been lucky to see my share of the good old good ones.

Connie Mack/Shibe Park, Memorial in Baltimore, Forbes Field, Old Yankee Stadium, and Tiger Stadium as a kid. Later on, Fenway, Wrigley, Old Comiskey, and Dodger Stadium as well as Municipal in Cleveland and the old Astrodome. Good times.

There is more to it that I witnessed that was never covered in all the news stories and documentaries that I watched. I have a "Disco Demolition" tee shirt that I wear every July 12th in memory. Tomorrow will be no exception. All that is the minor leagues compared to what is going on in Chicago since last Spring and Summer though.
