Ross was boss but then he thought his daughter was being threatened and dropped out for a while.

I was a big Ross Perot fan.
He scared the establishment too much. What you probably don't know is that it was his campaign that caused the parties to get together to make sure it couldn't happen again.
I had the pleasure of meeting him…
in DC in early 1990 for a military gala. I was selected to represent my unit at the Patrick Henry event at the Washington Hilton. Got to meet G W Bush, Colin Powell, Bob Dole, and others. Saw Perot again when he was campaigning in California in 93. Great guy. He did a lot for the military and veterans. A real patriot.
