According to a buddy down there on vacation. Almost $4 here, and it's still February. This is going to be a painful summer at the pump.

To bring you up to speed, one gas station near the airport was price gouging. All other stations in Orlando area are around $3.60.

I think he reads numbers quite well, given that he manages a billion dollar managed wealth portfolio.
..unless it is a company car of course and they are footing the bill.
If it was a rental car, no way they gave him one on fumes where he had to fill up right away.
Either way, he is a Jabroni that has very little common sense.

I think the actual price was $5.79 near the airport.
If I can just get this guy to visit once on his next trip to Disney, I can retire (assuming I can find a competent person to manage my money)

Sorry for the typo master.
That is hardly something to brag about. Or maybe it used to be a billion before he took it over? That would more explain this whole scenario.

just in case, we'd better get his name so I can keep him away from my investments
two stations next to the airport have listed prices $2 higher than anywhere else in the entire region.
your friend sounds like an idiot

I don't think the price of gas really bothers him while on vacation.

Kind of like me assuming you're over-weight.
awful lot. Which is not news for a loud mouthed, know it all douche like yourself.
I got a Mustang Convertable for the week too, awesome.
Maybe the Disney parks won't be so busy because of it, so I'll look at the bright side.

By the way, milk in GA now costs $8 gallon, due to excessive regulation just passed by Obama in the milk-suction machinery industry. Please run with this to your conservative buddies.
There are exactly two gas stations in Florida charging nearly $6/gallon: Suncoast Energy and Sun Gas Station, the two main filling stations that service the Orlando airport.
For the record, Ron Paul is engaging in pure fearmongering--shocking!--as these two fuel stops are pretty significant outliers. The third-most expensive gas station in the entire Sunshine State is $4.35/gallon and the average price of a gallon of gas statewide is $3.70.

Sadly the American zombie class will think it does, and elect a moron into office.
Obama did say, when asked in 2008 if higher oil prices were good for the country, he answered: " I think that I would have preferred a gradual adjustment." So, yes, high gas prices are good for the country. What?!!
Not to mention that he admitted that under his cap and trade plan, energy prices would "necessarily skyrocket."
There is video of both of these quotes. If the Republicans take out some ads with these videos, it would be damaging, I think. The context of the second statement was specifically electricity rates, but I have to think if that were played over and over the month before the election, it would hurt him. They give the impression that he isn't concerned with high energy prices.
"Let them eat cake."
These nice "angles" that can be taken against Obama are pretty meaningless when his opposition is so unlikeable.
submit a $3.8 trillion spending plan when revenue is expected to be $2.5 trillion.
I know that the Republicans are big spenders like the Democrats, but I have generally considered the equation to be R = .8 * D. So, even if Romney gets in and submits a $3.1 trillion budget, it would be an improvement.
The likelihood that any of them would submit smaller spending plans than Obama makes them instantly better than Obama.
I saw one report that Obama was cutting the defense budget by 3.6%. That's not enough...and defense is my first priority for the government, so it hurts to say that, but we are at the point where very good programs need to be cut immediately. We should implement a 3.6% cut across the board--every department. Or, how about a 20% cut across the board--every department.
Remember 2004, when there was plenty to go after in the Bush Administration for a good democratic candidate?
First off, they trotted out John Kerry and John Edwards. That's the first problem, and perhaps the biggest.
Second, they decided to have Kerry go after the Iraq War. This was stupid because (1) Not everyone was vehemently opposed to the war at that point and (2) Kerry himself voted for the fucking thing in the first place.
This year is similar.
We will have an unlikeable candidate in Romney, and he wants to make his whole platform about ObamaCare and Abortion rhetoric.
I tuned in to the Arizona debate, and literally turned it off in disgust. Social issues? I'm sure we will all care about contraception and gay marriage when our government fails due to our crushing debt.
It is an issue that the GOP could use pretty well, if the crisis with Iran escalates and causes gas prices to do the same...
If the republicans cannot control the carny, cabbage smelling, freakishly small handed candidates that they have put forward thus far.
Obama wants to price us into behavioral changes. The Republicans think there's an endless pool of oil. Both opinions are poor to say the least.

They could hardly get worse. But the Administration will take credit for it, and so will they take the blame on gas prices. Fair ain't got nuttin to do with it.
