"It’s a travesty of justice.”
“It’s a mockery of justice.”
“The whole thing is disgusting.”
“That’s why he’s[Trump] surging in the polls.”
Let's not forget, he could be in jail by 10:00 am on September 18 for this "nonsense."

...by perverting our justice system to prosecute political prisoners. They have to know that is how half the nation will perceive this. Less than half the population of the colonies wanted to fight King George, and yet look what happened.
Maybe he can still run for office, like Eugene Debs did (the last time the Democrats jailed a political opponent). But, I'm glad I'm an old man, and will only be watching this shit from my recliner. The younger generations are getting screwed.

If a federal judge puts him in jail, he can just pardon himself.
If a state judge puts him in jail, I'd imagine that SCOTUS could act. I'm not an expert on state appeals regarding state laws to the Supreme Court, and I haven't thought it through fully, but I would imagine that the State would be challenging the sovereignty of the Federal goverment and the validity of the national election, so I would think there would be an issue for SCOTUS to resolve.
Good because the dems won’t put him in jail - a judge will.
I do fear that people won't wait for SCOTUS to act, or for the election. But, maybe they will.

Also, the judge controls what the jury gets as evidence. Let's not pretend that juries are omniscient and 100% impartial. Would you agree to let Trump get tried for these offenses in West Texas? If not, ask yourself why not.
