Especially when you break down the demographics.
It is true that 4 of the 5 nights of polling were pre debate, however, Rasmussen also found that " just 1% of the voters would pick another candidate and 2% remained undecided" and the debate results were mixed regardless of who won. Thus, the impact of the debate is likely very small regardless (as we all have assumed except in cases where the candidate drools and faces backwards at the podium.

because it doesn’t matter (rhetorical). The answer is he’s afraid of getting his ass kicked again. Only the most biased people roiled that was anything but a complete embarrassment for Trump.

Harris agree to a FOX debate. She's going to stand up to Xi and Putin but is afraid of Fox?. She's afraid of getting real questions.

He auto-humiliates for them.
But… this is a given and iis irrelevant.
He always did this!
The issue on Election Day will be how our undecided “feel” about their own personal futures when they cast their votes

The next poll will be more telling.
If one thinks their preferred candidate won the debate wouldn't they want the debate to be consequential?

It does really matter who “won” the debate as this data shows…again, if you read the quote that I mentioned.
The “winner” was determined by the viewers preference by and large.
The number of those to be influenced by it is remarkably small (again that pesky quote that needs to be read).
Trump appears to lead (though only 20% of poll was collected post debate but again….only a very small # will be affected by it per this poll). Trump is splitting with Hispanic voters, getting 30% of black voters, and otherwise as expected each way. The demographic split is good news…..now THAT is something you can say is just my opinion.
If you want to claim debate victory, be my guest.
I didn't watch the debate. Don't know who won. Don't care who won.
Just pointing out truths. That's all.
But the good news that I was referring to was not about winning or losing the debate. It’s about the demographics that are being seen, and the relative firmness of them at this point.
