1.) If you are a member of the LGBTQ community, I believe the religious arm of the Republicans will erode some of the protections and funding for this population.
2.) if you are a career federal employee (civil servant—not political appointee), then I believe your job is likely in jeopardy with a Trump win. Reducing the number of career employees with political appointees is viewed as a missed opportunity of the first Trump Admin by The Heritage Foundation and others.
Let’s face it. She will be a figurehead President. She will sell influence once elected. (Have you ever seen the movie “Don’t Look Up” on Netflix? That is the type of President I expect her to be.
Second point federal and state employees get their own pensions without contributions, have superior benefits and if you add that to their salaries, make a lot more than the working/middle class which should always be the main concern when determining the philosophy we should apply to the economy. It used to be the Democrats were the party for the middle class but now it is clearly the Republicans. This is the main factor in who we should vote for as long as there are no wars, or other world events that may make the choice less clear. I have no problem with #2 happening as for #1 nothing he has said or is doing now has indicated a harmful result for the LGBTQ community.
